Modinagar Monkey Attack : मोदीनगर की नगर पंचायत निवाड़ी में बंदरों का आतंक लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है। बंदरों के हमलों से स्थानीय लोग दहशत में हैं। हाल ही में निवाड़ी निवासी शौकीन पर बंदरों ने हमला कर दिया, जिन्होंने शोर मचाकर अपनी जान बचाई। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि कस्बे में हजारों बंदर घूम रहे हैं, जिससे आम लोगों का घर से निकलना भी मुश्किल हो गया है।
महिलाएं, बच्चे और किसान सबसे ज्यादा परेशान
भारतीय किसान यूनियन किसान सभा के राष्ट्रीय संरक्षक सत्येंद्र त्यागी ने बताया कि अब तक सैकड़ों महिलाएं, बच्चे और बुजुर्ग बंदरों के हमलों में घायल हो चुके हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बंदर किसानों की गेहूं, धान और आम की फसलों को भी भारी नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं, जिससे किसानों को आर्थिक नुकसान उठाना पड़ रहा है।
प्रशासन को चेतावनी, महापंचायत की तैयारी
ग्रामीणों का आरोप है कि कई बार धरना-प्रदर्शन और शिकायतों के बावजूद प्रशासन ने कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठाया। अब निवाड़ी में जगह-जगह बैठकों का दौर शुरू हो गया है। लोगों ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि जल्द बंदरों को पकड़ने की कार्रवाई शुरू नहीं हुई, तो नगर पंचायत में महापंचायत कर बड़े आंदोलन की रणनीति बनाई जाएगी।

Satyendra Tyagi, National Patron of the Bharatiya Kisan Union Kisan Sabha, stated that hundreds of women, children, and elderly people have already been injured in monkey attacks. He also said that monkeys are causing heavy damage to farmers’ wheat, paddy, and mango crops, leading to significant financial losses for farmers.
Villagers Warn Administration, Preparing for Mahapanchayat
Villagers allege that despite several complaints, protests, and demonstrations, the administration has failed to take any concrete action. Meetings are now being held across Niwari, and locals have warned that if authorities do not start a monkey-catching campaign soon, a large Mahapanchayat will be organized and a major protest movement will be launched.
