मोदीनगर (गाजियाबाद): कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में एक श्रद्धालु का महंगा iPhone चोरी होने का मामला सामने आया है। घटना नमो भारत ट्रेन के पिलर नंबर-1300 के पास स्थित कांवड़ शिविर की है, जहां विश्राम के दौरान नोएडा निवासी भोले का मोबाइल फोन चोरी हो गया। पीड़ित ने मोदीनगर थाने में शिकायत दर्ज कराते हुए जल्द कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
स्नान कर लौटे तो गायब मिला iPhone
जानकारी के अनुसार, नोएडा के बहरामपुर निवासी कांवड़ श्रद्धालु हरिद्वार से गंगाजल लेकर लौट रहे थे। यात्रा के दौरान उन्होंने मोदीनगर स्थित कांवड़ शिविर में रात को विश्राम किया। सुबह स्नान करने के लिए जाने के बाद जब वह वापस लौटे, तो उनका महंगा iPhone वहां नहीं मिला। काफी तलाश के बावजूद मोबाइल का कोई सुराग नहीं लगा।
फोन में था महत्वपूर्ण निजी डाटा
पीड़ित श्रद्धालु ने बताया कि उन्होंने कुछ ही दिन पहले यह iPhone खरीदा था। मोबाइल में निजी दस्तावेज, संपर्क नंबर, बैंकिंग और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण डाटा सुरक्षित था। मोबाइल चोरी होने के बाद उन्होंने पहले स्थानीय लोगों को सूचना दी और फिर मोदीनगर थाने पहुंचकर लिखित शिकायत दर्ज कराई।
कांवड़ यात्रा की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर उठे सवाल
कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान लाखों श्रद्धालुओं की आवाजाही के बीच चोरी की इस घटना ने सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। श्रद्धालुओं का कहना है कि प्रमुख कांवड़ शिविरों, विश्राम स्थलों और भीड़भाड़ वाले क्षेत्रों में पुलिस गश्त और CCTV निगरानी को और मजबूत किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि ऐसी घटनाओं पर रोक लगाई जा सके।
CCTV फुटेज और मोबाइल लोकेशन के आधार पर जांच
मोदीनगर थाना पुलिस ने शिकायत मिलने की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। आसपास लगे CCTV कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाली जा रही है। साथ ही मोबाइल की लोकेशन और अन्य तकनीकी साक्ष्यों के आधार पर आरोपी की तलाश की जा रही है। पुलिस का कहना है कि जांच पूरी होने के बाद नियमानुसार कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

The victim has filed a complaint with the Modinagar Police, seeking immediate action.
iPhone Missing After Morning Bath
According to the complaint, the devotee, a resident of Baharampur, Noida, was returning from Haridwar with holy Ganga water. He stayed overnight at a Kanwar camp in Modinagar. When he went for a morning bath and returned, his recently purchased iPhone was missing. Despite searching the camp and nearby areas, the phone could not be found.
Phone Contained Important Personal Data
The victim stated that the iPhone contained valuable personal documents, contact numbers, banking information, and other important data. After failing to recover the device, he informed local people and later lodged a written complaint at the Modinagar Police Station.
Security Concerns During Kanwar Yatra
The incident has raised concerns over security arrangements during the Kanwar Yatra, where lakhs of devotees gather every year. Devotees have demanded stronger police patrolling and better CCTV surveillance at Kanwar camps and major halt points to prevent theft and other criminal activities.
Police Checking CCTV and Mobile Location
Modinagar Police confirmed that the complaint has been received and an investigation is underway. Officers are examining nearby CCTV footage and tracking the mobile phone’s location using technical surveillance. Police said appropriate legal action will be taken once the investigation is completed.
