मोदीनगर: गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र स्थित फफराना रोड पर शुक्रवार रात एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई। पारिवारिक विवाद के चलते एक दामाद ने अपने ससुर की कथित रूप से चाकू से गोदकर हत्या कर दी। वारदात के बाद इलाके में दहशत फैल गई, जबकि परिवार में मातम छा गया। सूचना मिलने पर डायल-112 और मोदीनगर पुलिस तत्काल मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू कर दी।
पुलिस के अनुसार, मृतक की पहचान अनार सिंह शर्मा (65 वर्ष) के रूप में हुई है, जो मोदी रबर फैक्ट्री से सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारी थे। बताया जा रहा है कि उनकी बेटी मोनू ने ब्रह्मपुरी कॉलोनी निवासी संदीप चौधरी से प्रेम विवाह किया था। प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया है कि किसी पारिवारिक विवाद के चलते संदीप अपनी ससुराल पहुंचा, जहां कहासुनी के दौरान उसने अनार सिंह शर्मा पर चाकू से कई वार कर दिए।
अस्पताल में उपचार के दौरान हुई मौत
घटना के तुरंत बाद परिजन गंभीर रूप से घायल अनार सिंह शर्मा को यशोदा अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे, लेकिन उपचार के दौरान डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस ने मौके को कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू कर दी।
वारदात के बाद आरोपी फरार
हत्या की घटना को अंजाम देने के बाद आरोपी संदीप चौधरी मौके से फरार हो गया। पुलिस उसकी गिरफ्तारी के लिए लगातार संभावित ठिकानों पर दबिश दे रही है। पुलिस का कहना है कि आरोपी को जल्द गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा।
डीसीपी ग्रामीण ने किया घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण
शुक्रवार सुबह डीसीपी ग्रामीण सुरेंद्रनाथ तिवारी ने घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण किया और अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए। वहीं फोरेंसिक टीम ने मौके से महत्वपूर्ण साक्ष्य एकत्र किए हैं, जिनके आधार पर मामले की जांच आगे बढ़ाई जा रही है।

Modinagar, Ghaziabad: A shocking murder case was reported from Fafrana Road in Modinagar, Ghaziabad, on Friday night, where a man allegedly stabbed his father-in-law to death following a family dispute. The incident created panic in the locality, while the victim’s family was left devastated. Police reached the spot immediately after receiving information and launched an investigation.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Anar Singh Sharma (65), a retired employee of Modi Rubber Factory. Preliminary investigation revealed that his daughter Monu had entered into a love marriage with Sandeep Chaudhary, a resident of Brahmpuri Colony.
Police officials stated that Sandeep allegedly visited his in-laws’ house following a family dispute. During an argument, he reportedly attacked Anar Singh Sharma with a knife, inflicting multiple injuries.
Victim Declared Dead During Treatment
Family members rushed the seriously injured victim to Yashoda Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead during medical treatment. The incident was immediately reported to the police, who secured the crime scene and began collecting evidence.
Accused Absconding, Police Launch Manhunt
After the attack, the accused allegedly fled the scene. Police teams are conducting raids at multiple suspected locations to trace and arrest him. Authorities expressed confidence that the accused would be apprehended soon.
DCP Rural Inspects Crime Scene
On Friday morning, DCP Rural Surendranath Tiwari visited the crime scene and directed officials to conduct a thorough investigation. A forensic team also collected crucial evidence from the spot to assist in the investigation.
