GS Pharmbutor परिसर में लिए गए तीन नमूने
जांच के दौरान खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन विभाग की टीम ने Food for Special Dietary Use (FSDU) का एक नमूना और न्यूट्रास्यूटिकल्स श्रेणी के दो नमूने लिए। इस तरह कुल तीन नमूने लिए गए। विभाग के अनुसार, सभी नमूनों को आगे की जांच के लिए प्रयोगशाला भेजा गया है।
अब प्रयोगशाला जांच की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर संबंधित उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता और नियामकीय मानकों के अनुपालन के संबंध में आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
Maxvida Nutraceuticals के उत्पाद पर मिला दावा
कार्रवाई के दौरान टीम को Maxvida Nutraceuticals के एक पैकेज्ड उत्पाद पर “Wholesome Daily Nutrient for Adult” जैसा दावा मिला। विभाग ने इस दावे को भ्रामक मानते हुए संबंधित उत्पाद के स्टॉक पर कार्रवाई की।
विभागीय कार्रवाई के तहत 400 ग्राम वजन वाली 7,794 यूनिट जब्त की गईं। जब्त किए गए स्टॉक की कुल मात्रा करीब 3,117 किलोग्राम बताई गई है।
₹27.24 लाख का स्टॉक जब्त
विभाग के अनुसार, जब्त किए गए फूड सप्लीमेंट स्टॉक की अनुमानित कीमत ₹27,24,258 है। इस कार्रवाई के बाद संबंधित उत्पाद का स्टॉक विभागीय निगरानी में लिया गया।
गाजियाबाद में भी चला अभियान
फूड सप्लीमेंट्स और न्यूट्रास्यूटिकल्स के खिलाफ यह अभियान केवल मोदीनगर तक सीमित नहीं रहा। 19 और 20 सितंबर को गाजियाबाद के अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की टीमों ने संबंधित प्रतिष्ठानों का निरीक्षण किया।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, इस अभियान के दौरान कुल छह नमूने लिए गए और करीब ₹27.44 लाख मूल्य की 3,121 किलोग्राम सामग्री जब्त की गई।
प्रयोगशाला रिपोर्ट के बाद होगी आगे की कार्रवाई
विभाग द्वारा लिए गए नमूनों को जांच के लिए प्रयोगशाला भेजा गया है। प्रयोगशाला रिपोर्ट सामने आने के बाद संबंधित उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता और नियमों के अनुरूपता के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
Major Food Supplements Action in Modinagar, Stock Worth ₹27.24 Lakh Seized
Modinagar (Ghaziabad): The Food Safety and Drug Administration department has taken action against food supplements and nutraceuticals in Modinagar as part of an ongoing inspection drive. The department’s team inspected the food business premises of GS Pharmbutor Pvt. Ltd., located at Modi Steel Compound on GT Road.
During the inspection, officials collected three samples and seized food supplement stock estimated to be worth ₹27.24 lakh.

During the inspection, the food safety team collected one sample of Food for Special Dietary Use (FSDU) and two samples from the nutraceutical category.
A total of three samples were collected from the premises. According to the department, the samples have been sent to a laboratory for further testing.
The laboratory report will help determine the quality and regulatory compliance of the products and whether further action is required.
Action Taken Against Maxvida Nutraceuticals Product
During the inspection, officials found a packaged product from Maxvida Nutraceuticals carrying a claim described as “Wholesome Daily Nutrient for Adult.”
The department considered the claim misleading and initiated action against the stock of the concerned product.
Officials seized 7,794 units weighing 400 grams each. The total quantity of the seized stock was reported to be approximately 3,117 kilograms.
Food Supplement Stock Worth ₹27.24 Lakh Seized
According to the department, the estimated value of the seized stock is ₹27,24,258.
The stock was taken under departmental action following the inspection of the food business premises.
Food Safety Drive Also Conducted Across Ghaziabad
The action was not limited to Modinagar. Food safety teams also inspected food supplement and nutraceutical establishments in other parts of Ghaziabad as part of the campaign conducted on September 19 and 20.
According to the report, the campaign resulted in the collection of six samples and the seizure of approximately 3,121 kilograms of material valued at around ₹27.44 lakh.
Laboratory Testing to Determine Further Action
The samples collected during the inspections have been sent to laboratories for testing. Further action will depend on the laboratory findings and compliance with applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.
