Pre Monsoon Rain : देशभर में भीषण गर्मी से परेशान लोगों के लिए राहत भरी खबर सामने आई है। मौसम विभाग और यूरोपियन मौसम एजेंसी के अनुसार 29 मई से 5 जून के बीच भारत के करीब 80-90% हिस्से में प्री-मानसून बारिश हो सकती है। यह बदलाव ऐसे समय में हो रहा है जब कई राज्यों में तापमान 45°C से 47°C के पार पहुंच चुका है।
हालांकि मानसून अभी तक केरल नहीं पहुंचा है। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक केरल में नमी कम होने और अरब सागर में बने चक्रवाती सर्कुलेशन की वजह से मानसून की रफ्तार धीमी पड़ गई है।
UP का बांदा फिर बना देश का सबसे गर्म शहर
उत्तर प्रदेश का बांदा लगातार नौवें दिन देश का सबसे गर्म शहर रिकॉर्ड किया गया। यहां तापमान 47.4°C तक पहुंच गया। इसके अलावा उरई, झांसी, प्रयागराज, आगरा और हमीरपुर में भी पारा 45°C के पार रहा। राजस्थान के श्रीगंगानगर में 47°C तापमान दर्ज हुआ, जबकि महाराष्ट्र के ब्रह्मपुरी और चंद्रपुर में भी भीषण गर्मी देखने को मिली। दिल्ली, हरियाणा और पंजाब में भी लू का असर जारी है।
28 और 29 मई को कई राज्यों में हीटवेव और तूफान का अलर्ट
मौसम विभाग ने राजस्थान, यूपी, दिल्ली, हरियाणा, पंजाब, तेलंगाना और ओडिशा समेत कई राज्यों में हीटवेव का अलर्ट जारी किया है। वहीं बिहार, पश्चिम बंगाल और उत्तर भारत के कई हिस्सों में 50-70 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं और हल्की बारिश होने की संभावना जताई गई है। हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू-कश्मीर और पंजाब में आंधी-तूफान के साथ ओलावृष्टि की चेतावनी भी जारी की गई है।
दक्षिण और पूर्वोत्तर भारत में भारी बारिश के संकेत
यूरोपियन सेंटर फॉर मीडियम-रेंज वेदर फोरकास्ट्स के मुताबिक अगले कुछ दिनों में दक्षिण भारत, पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों और बंगाल की खाड़ी के आसपास के इलाकों में भारी बारिश हो सकती है। केरल, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक और पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों में मौसम तेजी से बदलने के आसार हैं, जिससे तापमान में गिरावट देखने को मिल सकती है।
मानसून में देरी क्यों हो रही है?
मौसम वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार केरल में लगातार दो दिन 2.5 mm बारिश होना जरूरी होता है, तभी मानसून पहुंचने की आधिकारिक घोषणा की जाती है। लेकिन इस बार नमी कमजोर होने के कारण मानसून आगे नहीं बढ़ पाया है। विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि अगर अगले कुछ दिनों में बारिश बढ़ती है तो जून की शुरुआत तक मानसून तेजी पकड़ सकता है।

Pre Monsoon Rain : A major relief from the scorching heat may finally arrive for most parts of India. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and European weather agencies, pre-monsoon rainfall is expected across nearly 80-90% of the country between May 29 and June 5. This comes at a time when temperatures in several states have crossed the 45°C to 47°C mark.
However, the southwest monsoon has still not reached Kerala. Weather experts say weak moisture levels over Kerala and a cyclonic circulation over the Arabian Sea have slowed the monsoon’s progress.
Banda in UP Again Becomes India’s Hottest City
Uttar Pradesh’s Banda once again recorded the highest temperature in the country for the ninth consecutive day, with the mercury touching 47.4°C. Apart from Banda, temperatures crossed 45°C in Orai, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Agra, and Hamirpur as well. Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar recorded 47°C, while Maharashtra’s Brahmapuri and Chandrapur also witnessed extreme heat conditions. Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab continue to remain under severe heatwave conditions.
Heatwave and Thunderstorm Alerts Issued for Several States
The weather department has issued heatwave alerts for Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Telangana, and Odisha for May 28 and 29. Meanwhile, parts of Bihar, West Bengal, and North India may witness strong winds of 50-70 kmph along with light rain. Thunderstorms and hailstorm warnings have also been issued for Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab.
Heavy Rain Expected in South and Northeast India
According to the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, southern states, northeastern India, and regions around the Bay of Bengal are likely to receive significant rainfall in the coming days. States like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Assam, and Meghalaya may experience sudden weather changes and a drop in temperatures.
Why Is the Monsoon Delayed?
Meteorologists say the official onset of the monsoon in Kerala is declared only when at least 2.5 mm rainfall is recorded for two consecutive days at 14 designated weather stations. This year, weak moisture conditions have delayed the process. Experts believe that if rainfall activity increases in the coming days, the monsoon could advance rapidly by early June.
