मोदीनगर (गाजियाबाद): मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र की गोविंदपुरी चौकी अंतर्गत पेपर मिल के पास सोमवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा हो गया। तेज रफ्तार बाइक की टक्कर लगने से एक महिला गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। हादसे के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया, जबकि बाइक सवार भी सड़क पर गिरकर घायल हो गया और उसकी बाइक क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने दिखाई मानवता
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार महिला सड़क से गुजर रही थी, तभी तेज गति से आ रही बाइक ने उसे जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि महिला सड़क पर गिरकर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। आसपास मौजूद लोगों ने बिना देर किए घायल महिला की मदद की और तुरंत 108 एंबुलेंस सेवा को सूचना दी।
पुलिस और एंबुलेंस ने पहुंचकर कराया उपचार
घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही डायल 112 पुलिस मौके पर पहुंच गई। पुलिस और स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से घायल महिला को एंबुलेंस के जरिए सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (सीएचसी) गोविंदपुरी भेजा गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उसका प्राथमिक उपचार शुरू कर दिया। फिलहाल महिला का इलाज जारी है।
हादसे के बाद लगा जाम
दुर्घटना के बाद कुछ समय के लिए सड़क पर लोगों की भीड़ जमा हो गई, जिससे यातायात प्रभावित हुआ। पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर यातायात को सामान्य कराया और दुर्घटना के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी।
स्थानीय लोगों ने उठाई सड़क सुरक्षा की मांग
स्थानीय निवासियों का कहना है कि पेपर मिल रोड पर तेज रफ्तार वाहनों की आवाजाही के कारण आए दिन सड़क हादसे होते रहते हैं। लोगों ने प्रशासन से स्पीड कंट्रोल के लिए स्पीड ब्रेकर, चेतावनी संकेतक और नियमित ट्रैफिक निगरानी की मांग की है ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं को रोका जा सके।
पुलिस जांच जारी
पुलिस ने बताया कि मामले की जांच की जा रही है। हादसे के कारणों का पता लगाने के साथ ही आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई भी की जाएगी।
Woman Seriously Injured After Speeding Bike Hits Her Near Paper Mill in Modinagar
Modinagar, Ghaziabad: A serious road accident took place on Monday near the Paper Mill under Govindpuri Police Outpost in Modinagar. A woman sustained serious injuries after being struck by a speeding motorcycle. The impact also caused the biker to lose control and fall onto the road, damaging the motorcycle.
Locals Rushed to Help the Victim
According to eyewitnesses, the woman was walking along the road when a speeding motorcycle hit her with great force. The collision left her seriously injured on the roadside. Local residents immediately came forward to help and informed the 108 Ambulance Service.
Police and Ambulance Reached the Spot
Soon after receiving the information, the Dial 112 Police arrived at the accident site. With the assistance of local residents, the injured woman was shifted to Community Health Centre (CHC) Govindpuri, where doctors started her initial treatment. She is currently undergoing medical care.
Traffic Disrupted for Some Time
The accident attracted a crowd, resulting in temporary traffic congestion. Police managed the traffic and initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
Residents Demand Better Road Safety
Local residents alleged that overspeeding vehicles frequently cause accidents on this stretch of road. They urged the administration to install speed breakers, warning signs, and enforce stricter traffic monitoring to prevent similar incidents in the future.
