मोदीनगर। गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर स्थित निवाड़ी रोड पर गुरुवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा हुआ। तेज रफ्तार से आ रही एक कार ने DTDC कोरियर कंपनी की टाटा मैजिक को जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। इस हादसे में टाटा मैजिक के चालक और सहचालक गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। दोनों को स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से नजदीकी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उनका इलाज जारी है।
चालक ने बताया कैसे हुआ हादसा
घायल चालक के अनुसार वह अपनी टाटा मैजिक को निर्धारित लेन में चला रहा था। तभी सामने से तेज गति में आ रही कार अचानक उसकी ओर आ गई। चालक ने वाहन बचाने की पूरी कोशिश की, लेकिन कार ने सीधे टाटा मैजिक में टक्कर मार दी।
मारपीट का भी लगाया आरोप
घायल चालक का आरोप है कि दुर्घटना के बाद जब वह किसी तरह वाहन से बाहर निकला, तब कार में सवार युवक नशे की हालत में थे और उन्होंने उसके साथ मारपीट शुरू कर दी। चालक ने आरोप लगाया कि आरोपियों ने सड़क पर अभद्र व्यवहार भी किया।
स्थानीय लोगों ने बचाई जान
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार हादसे के बाद घटनास्थल पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई। आसपास मौजूद लोगों ने तुरंत हस्तक्षेप किया और घायल चालक व सहचालक को कार सवार युवकों से बचाया। हादसे में चालक के पैर में गंभीर चोट आई है, जबकि सहचालक को भी चोटें लगी हैं।
पुलिस जांच में जुटी
घटना की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घायलों को अस्पताल भिजवाया। बताया जा रहा है कि मारपीट करने के बाद आरोपी कार सवार मौके से फरार हो गए।
एसीपी भास्कर वर्मा का बयान
मोदीनगर एसीपी भास्कर वर्मा ने बताया कि पुलिस ने घायलों को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल भेज दिया है। पूरे मामले की जांच की जा रही है तथा आरोपियों की तलाश जारी है। दोषियों के खिलाफ साक्ष्यों के आधार पर उचित कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

Modinagar: A serious road accident took place on Niwari Road in Modinagar on Thursday after a speeding car rammed into a DTDC courier Tata Magic vehicle. The collision left the driver and helper seriously injured. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital by local residents, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Driver Recounts the Incident
According to the injured driver, he was driving his Tata Magic in the correct lane when a speeding car approached from the opposite direction. Despite making every effort to avoid the collision, the car crashed directly into his vehicle.
Assault Allegation After the Crash
The driver alleged that after he managed to come out of the damaged vehicle, the occupants of the car, who were allegedly under the influence of alcohol, assaulted him and behaved aggressively on the road.
Locals Intervened
Eyewitnesses said panic spread across the area following the accident. Local residents immediately intervened, rescued the injured driver and helper, and prevented further assault. The driver reportedly sustained a serious leg injury, while the helper also suffered multiple injuries.
Police Investigation Underway
Police reached the accident spot soon after receiving information and shifted the injured victims to a hospital. The accused allegedly fled the scene after the incident, and a search operation has been launched.
