गाजियाबाद/मोदीनगर: गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र की मोदीपोन चौकी में सड़क हादसे के बाद उस समय हंगामा हो गया, जब बजरंग दल के एक कार्यकर्ता ने पुलिसकर्मियों पर पैसे मांगने का आरोप लगाया। मामले की जानकारी मिलने के बाद बड़ी संख्या में बजरंग दल कार्यकर्ता चौकी पर पहुंच गए और पुलिस के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन किया।
जानकारी के मुताबिक, मोदीपोन चौकी क्षेत्र में बजरंग दल के एक कार्यकर्ता की कार दूसरी गाड़ी से टकरा गई थी। हादसे के बाद किसी व्यक्ति ने 112 नंबर पर कॉल कर पुलिस को सूचना दी। सूचना मिलने पर 112 पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और दोनों पक्षों को मोदीपोन चौकी ले आई। आरोप है कि इसके बाद 112 पुलिस दोनों पक्षों को चौकी पर छोड़कर वहां से चली गई।
शिकायत नहीं होने के बावजूद रोकने का आरोप
बजरंग दल कार्यकर्ताओं का कहना है कि चौकी पहुंचने के बाद उन्होंने पुलिस से जानकारी ली कि क्या दूसरे पक्ष की ओर से कोई लिखित शिकायत या तहरीर दी गई है। कार्यकर्ताओं के मुताबिक, उस समय दूसरे पक्ष की ओर से कोई तहरीर नहीं दी गई थी। इसके बावजूद बजरंग दल कार्यकर्ता को चौकी पर रोक लिया गया।
पुलिस पर पैसे मांगने का आरोप
कार्यकर्ताओं ने आरोप लगाया कि चौकी पुलिस ने कथित तौर पर कार्यकर्ता से कुछ पैसे देने की मांग की और पैसे देने के बाद छोड़ने की बात कही। आरोप सामने आने के बाद कार्यकर्ता ने बजरंग दल के अन्य पदाधिकारियों को मामले की जानकारी दी।
सूचना मिलते ही बड़ी संख्या में बजरंग दल कार्यकर्ता मोदीपोन चौकी पहुंच गए। कार्यकर्ताओं ने पुलिस के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की और चौकी पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करते हुए हंगामा किया।
जांच की मांग, पुलिस का आधिकारिक बयान सामने नहीं आया
बजरंग दल कार्यकर्ताओं ने पूरे मामले की जांच कर दोषी पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की। वहीं, पुलिस पर लगाए गए पैसों की मांग के आरोपों को लेकर अभी तक पुलिस की ओर से कोई आधिकारिक प्रतिक्रिया सामने नहीं आई है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि मामले की जांच के बाद ही पूरी स्थिति स्पष्ट हो सकेगी।

Ghaziabad/Modinagar: A protest broke out at Modipon Police Outpost under Modinagar Police Station in Ghaziabad after a Bajrang Dal worker allegedly accused police personnel of demanding money following a road accident. Soon after the allegation surfaced, a large number of Bajrang Dal workers reached the police outpost and staged a protest, raising slogans against the police.
According to the information available, a vehicle belonging to a Bajrang Dal worker collided with another vehicle in the Modipon Chowki area. Following the accident, someone called the emergency number 112 and informed the police. The 112 police team reached the spot and brought both parties to Modipon Chowki. It is alleged that the 112 police personnel later left the two parties at the outpost and departed.
Worker Allegedly Detained Despite No Written Complaint
Bajrang Dal workers claimed that after reaching the police outpost, they asked whether the other party had submitted any written complaint or application regarding the accident. According to the workers, no written complaint had been submitted at that time. Despite this, they alleged that the Bajrang Dal worker was asked to remain at the outpost.
Police Accused of Demanding Money
The workers further alleged that police personnel at the outpost demanded a certain amount of money from the worker and indicated that he would be allowed to leave after making the payment.
Following the allegation, the worker informed other Bajrang Dal office-bearers about the incident. After receiving the information, a large number of workers reached Modipon Chowki and began protesting.
Workers Demand Investigation and Action
The protesters raised slogans against the police and demanded a proper investigation into the allegations. They also called for action if any police personnel were found responsible for demanding money.
As of now, there has been no official response from the police regarding the allegations made by the Bajrang Dal workers. Officials have indicated that the facts of the matter will become clear after an investigation.
