गाजियाबाद/मोदीनगर। सावन माह की कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान रविवार को मोदीनगर में कांवड़ियों का भव्य स्वागत किया गया। उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस और जिला प्रशासन की ओर से आयोजित विशेष कार्यक्रम में गाजियाबाद के डीसीपी ग्रामीण सुरेंद्रनाथ तिवारी ने कांवड़ यात्रियों पर पुष्पवर्षा कर उनका स्वागत किया।
जैसे ही कांवड़ियों का जत्था मोदीनगर क्षेत्र में पहुंचा, पुलिस और प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों ने श्रद्धालुओं का गर्मजोशी से अभिनंदन किया। पुष्पवर्षा के दौरान पूरा क्षेत्र हर-हर महादेव और बम-बम भोले के जयकारों से गूंज उठा। सड़क के दोनों ओर बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय नागरिक और श्रद्धालु मौजूद रहे।
डीसीपी ने कांवड़ियों पर की पुष्पवर्षा
मोदीनगर में आयोजित स्वागत कार्यक्रम के दौरान डीसीपी ग्रामीण सुरेंद्रनाथ तिवारी ने कांवड़ियों पर पुष्पवर्षा की। इस दौरान पुलिस अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने कांवड़ यात्रियों की सुविधाओं और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का जायजा भी लिया।
कार्यक्रम में एसीपी भास्कर वर्मा और मोदीनगर थाना प्रभारी निरीक्षक आनंद कुमार मिश्र सहित पुलिस विभाग के कई अधिकारी और कर्मचारी मौजूद रहे।
कांवड़ यात्रा के लिए सुरक्षा के व्यापक इंतजाम
पुलिस प्रशासन की ओर से कांवड़ यात्रा को लेकर मोदीनगर क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा के व्यापक इंतजाम किए गए हैं। अधिकारियों ने कांवड़ियों को यात्रा के दौरान उपलब्ध सुरक्षा, चिकित्सा, पेयजल और अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाओं की जानकारी दी।
डीसीपी सुरेंद्रनाथ तिवारी ने कहा कि कांवड़ यात्रा को सकुशल संपन्न कराना पुलिस प्रशासन की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है। उन्होंने बताया कि कांवड़ मार्ग पर पुलिस बल और यातायात पुलिस की तैनाती के साथ स्वास्थ्य विभाग तथा अन्य संबंधित एजेंसियां भी सक्रिय हैं।
हर-हर महादेव के जयकारों से गूंजा मोदीनगर
कांवड़ियों के स्वागत के दौरान मोदीनगर का माहौल भक्तिमय नजर आया। सड़क से गुजर रहे कांवड़ यात्रियों पर पुष्पवर्षा होते ही श्रद्धालुओं में खासा उत्साह देखने को मिला। कांवड़ियों ने पुलिस और जिला प्रशासन की इस पहल की सराहना की।
कई कांवड़ यात्रियों ने कहा कि रास्ते में इस तरह का सम्मान और स्वागत उन्हें यात्रा पूरी करने के लिए नई ऊर्जा और उत्साह देता है।
शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से आगे बढ़ रही कांवड़ यात्रा
मोदीनगर क्षेत्र में कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान प्रशासनिक और पुलिस व्यवस्था सुचारु रही। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा और सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए पूरे कांवड़ मार्ग पर लगातार निगरानी रखी जा रही है।
Grand Welcome for Kanwariyas in Modinagar, DCP Surendra Nath Tiwari Showers Flowers
Ghaziabad/Modinagar: A grand welcome was organised for Kanwariyas in Modinagar on Sunday during the ongoing Kanwar Yatra in the month of Sawan. The Uttar Pradesh Police and district administration organised a special programme to honour Kanwar pilgrims, during which Ghaziabad DCP Rural Surendra Nath Tiwari showered flower petals on the Kanwariyas and welcomed them.
As the group of Kanwar pilgrims entered the Modinagar area, police and administrative officials warmly welcomed them. The atmosphere turned devotional as the area echoed with chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Bam Bam Bhole.” A large number of devotees and local residents gathered along both sides of the road to greet the pilgrims.
DCP Surendra Nath Tiwari Welcomes Kanwariyas
During the welcome programme in Modinagar, DCP Rural Surendra Nath Tiwari showered flower petals on the Kanwariyas. Police officials and personnel also reviewed the arrangements made for the safety and convenience of the pilgrims.
ACP Bhaskar Verma, Modinagar Police Station Inspector Anand Kumar Mishra, along with several other police officials and personnel, were present during the event.
Extensive Security Arrangements for Kanwar Yatra
The police and district administration have made extensive security arrangements in the Modinagar area for the ongoing Kanwar Yatra 2026.
Officials briefed the Kanwariyas about the facilities available along the route, including security arrangements, medical assistance, drinking water and other essential services.
DCP Surendra Nath Tiwari said that ensuring the safe and peaceful completion of the Kanwar Yatra is the top priority of the police administration. He said that police personnel and traffic police have been deployed along the Kanwar route, while health department teams and other concerned agencies are also actively working to assist the pilgrims.
Modinagar Echoes with “Har Har Mahadev” Chants
The welcome ceremony created a devotional atmosphere in Modinagar. Kanwariyas expressed enthusiasm as flower petals were showered on them while they passed through the area.
Several Kanwar pilgrims appreciated the initiative taken by the police and district administration. They said that such gestures of respect and encouragement give them additional energy and motivation during their long journey.
Kanwar Yatra Continues Peacefully
The police and administrative arrangements remained smooth throughout the event in Modinagar. Officials said that continuous monitoring is being carried out along the Kanwar route to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees.
Amid extensive security arrangements and administrative support, the Kanwariyas continued their journey peacefully towards their respective destinations.
