गाजियाबाद/मेरठ: उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद जिले के भोजपुर थाना क्षेत्र के मुरादाबाद गांव निवासी एक परिवार पर सोमवार को उस समय दुखों का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा, जब रक्तदान के लिए मेरठ मेडिकल अस्पताल जा रहे परिवार की बाइक को खरखौदा थाना क्षेत्र में तेज रफ्तार कार ने जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में 35 वर्षीय कोमल पत्नी सचिन और उनकी 65 वर्षीय मां शरबती पत्नी देवी सिंह की मौत हो गई, जबकि कोमल का छह वर्षीय बेटा रूद्र गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया।
रक्तदान के लिए मेरठ मेडिकल जा रहा था परिवार
जानकारी के मुताबिक, शरबती के बेटे सुनील की पत्नी काजल मेरठ मेडिकल कॉलेज में भर्ती हैं। डॉक्टरों ने काजल के लिए रक्त की आवश्यकता बताई थी। इसी वजह से शरबती अपनी बेटी कोमल, छह वर्षीय नाती रूद्र और लोनी निवासी धेवते के साथ बाइक से मेरठ मेडिकल अस्पताल जा रही थीं।
बाइक धेवता चला रहा था, जबकि छह वर्षीय रूद्र अपनी मां कोमल की गोद में बैठा हुआ था।
गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे इंटरचेंज के पास हुआ हादसा
बताया जा रहा है कि परिवार जैसे ही खरखौदा थाना क्षेत्र में मेरठ-बुलंदशहर हाईवे पर बिजली स्थित गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे इंटरचेंज के पास पहुंचा, तभी सामने से तेज रफ्तार में आ रही एक कार ने बाइक में जोरदार टक्कर मार दी।
टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि बाइक पर सवार सभी लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। हादसे के बाद मौके पर चीख-पुकार मच गई।
सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घायलों को उपचार के लिए मेरठ मेडिकल अस्पताल पहुंचाया। अस्पताल में डॉक्टरों ने 65 वर्षीय शरबती और 35 वर्षीय कोमल को मृत घोषित कर दिया।
हादसे में मासूम रूद्र का पैर कटा
दुर्घटना में छह वर्षीय मासूम रूद्र गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। हादसा इतना भयावह था कि रूद्र का दाहिना पैर घुटने के नीचे से कट गया। बच्चे का अस्पताल में उपचार कराया जा रहा है।
परिवार के लिए यह हादसा उस समय और भी दर्दनाक हो गया, जब वे घर की बहू काजल के लिए रक्तदान करने मेरठ मेडिकल अस्पताल जा रहे थे।
कार चालक मौके से फरार
हादसे के बाद कार चालक वाहन को मौके पर छोड़कर फरार हो गया। पुलिस ने दोनों वाहनों को कब्जे में ले लिया है। मृतकों के शवों का पंचनामा भरकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है।
पुलिस फरार कार चालक की तलाश में जुटी है और हादसे के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है।
Tragic Accident on Meerut-Bulandshahr Highway: Mother and Daughter Killed, Six-Year-Old Boy Loses Leg
Ghaziabad/Meerut: A tragic road accident took place on Monday when a speeding car collided with a motorcycle carrying a family from Muradabad village in Ghaziabad’s Bhojpur area. The family was reportedly travelling to Meerut Medical College Hospital to donate blood to a relative admitted there.
The accident occurred near the Ganga Expressway interchange at Bijli on the Meerut-Bulandshahr Highway, under Kharkhoda police station limits.
Mother and Daughter Killed in Accident
According to the information available, 35-year-old Komal, wife of Sachin, and her 65-year-old mother Sharabati, wife of Devi Singh, died after the motorcycle was hit by a speeding car.
Komal’s six-year-old son Rudra was also seriously injured in the accident.
The family belongs to Muradabad village in the Bhojpur area of Ghaziabad.
Family Was Travelling to Meerut Medical College for Blood Donation
The family was reportedly travelling to Meerut Medical College because Kajal, wife of Sharabati’s son Sunil, was admitted there and doctors had advised that she needed blood.
Sharabati was travelling with her daughter Komal, her six-year-old grandson Rudra and another family member from Loni.
The motorcycle was being ridden by the relative from Loni, while young Rudra was sitting in his mother’s lap.
Speeding Car Collided With Motorcycle
The accident took place when the family reached the Ganga Expressway interchange near Bijli on the Meerut-Bulandshahr Highway.
A car coming from the opposite direction at high speed reportedly collided with the motorcycle.
The impact was so severe that all the motorcycle riders sustained serious injuries.
After receiving information about the accident, police reached the spot and rushed the injured to Meerut Medical College Hospital. Doctors declared Sharabati and Komal dead upon arrival.
Six-Year-Old Boy Loses Right Leg
The accident left six-year-old Rudra critically injured. His right leg was severed below the knee in the collision.
He was taken to Meerut Medical College Hospital for treatment.
The incident has left the family devastated, particularly because they were travelling to the hospital to arrange blood for another family member.
Car Driver Flees After Accident
Following the collision, the car driver reportedly abandoned the vehicle and fled from the spot.
Police have taken both vehicles into custody. The bodies of the deceased women were sent for post-mortem examination after completion of the necessary formalities.
Police are searching for the absconding driver and investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
