ऑनलाइन गेम के दौरान हुई घटना
जानकारी के अनुसार, यह घटना तब सामने आई जब एक ऑनलाइन गेम खेलते समय एक अनजान व्यक्ति ने एक्टर की बेटी से पहले बातचीत शुरू की और फिर उससे न्यूड तस्वीरें भेजने की मांग की। अभिनेता के अनुसार, उनकी बेटी ने तुरंत समझदारी दिखाते हुए गेम बंद किया और अपनी मां को पूरी घटना के बारे में बताया। इसके बाद मामला साइबर पुलिस तक पहुंचा और जांच शुरू हुई।
पुलिस की कार्रवाई
महाराष्ट्र साइबर पुलिस के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी यशस्वी यादव ने जानकारी दी कि आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। हालांकि गिरफ्तारी की सटीक तारीख का खुलासा नहीं किया गया है। इस घटना के बाद अक्षय कुमार ने बच्चों के लिए स्कूलों में साइबर अवेयरनेस क्लास शुरू करने की मांग की थी, ताकि ऐसे अपराधों से बचाव किया जा सके।
