पुलिस के अनुसार, 19 और 20 अक्टूबर के बीच सोनू की हत्या की साजिश रचने का आरोप नेहा रावत और उसके पड़ोसी जितेंद्र उर्फ राहुल पर है। आरोप है कि हत्या के बाद युवक के शव को चादर में लपेटकर मेटल बॉक्स में रखा गया और फिर लोडर की मदद से हाईवे तक ले जाकर फेंक दिया गया।
