बाइक की सर्विस कराकर घर लौट रहे थे दोनों युवक, 5-6 अज्ञात हमलावरों पर मारपीट का आरोप
मोदीनगर। थाना मोदीनगर क्षेत्र के निवाड़ी रोड पर चौकी से करीब 500 मीटर की दूरी पर बाइक की सर्विस कराकर घर लौट रहे दो युवकों पर 5-6 अज्ञात लोगों ने कथित रूप से घात लगाकर हमला कर दिया। आरोप है कि हमलावरों ने दोनों युवकों को रास्ते में रोककर लाठी-डंडों से जमकर पीटा। मारपीट में दोनों युवकों के सिर और शरीर के अन्य हिस्सों में गंभीर चोटें आई हैं।
पीड़ित युवकों के मुताबिक, वे अपनी बाइक की सर्विस कराने के बाद घर लौट रहे थे। इसी दौरान निवाड़ी रोड पर कुछ दूरी आगे पहुंचने पर 5-6 युवक अचानक उनके सामने आ गए। आरोप है कि हमलावरों ने बिना किसी स्पष्ट कारण के दोनों युवकों के साथ मारपीट शुरू कर दी।
पीड़ितों का आरोप है कि हमलावरों ने लाठी-डंडों से उनके सिर पर भी वार किए, जिससे दोनों युवक घायल हो गए और उनके सिर से खून निकलने लगा। घटना के बाद आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गए।
घायल युवकों ने थाने पहुंचकर दी तहरीर
हमले के बाद दोनों घायल युवक किसी तरह मोदीनगर थाने पहुंचे और पुलिस को पूरी घटना की जानकारी दी। पीड़ितों ने पुलिस को तहरीर देकर अज्ञात हमलावरों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की।
पुलिस ने दोनों घायलों को उपचार और मेडिकल परीक्षण के लिए गोविंदपुरी स्थित सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (सीएचसी) भेजा। वहां चिकित्सकों ने दोनों का मेडिकल परीक्षण किया।
CCTV फुटेज से हमलावरों की पहचान का प्रयास
पीड़ित युवकों ने पुलिस से हमलावरों की पहचान कर उनके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की है। पुलिस का कहना है कि तहरीर और मेडिकल रिपोर्ट के आधार पर मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
पुलिस घटनास्थल के आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज भी खंगाल रही है, ताकि हमलावरों की पहचान की जा सके। पुलिस के अनुसार, जांच में सामने आने वाले तथ्यों के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

Modinagar: Two youths were allegedly attacked by 5-6 unidentified men on Niwari Road in the Modinagar police station area while they were returning home after getting their motorcycle serviced. The incident reportedly took place around 500 metres from the Niwari Road police outpost.
According to the victims, they were returning home after getting their motorcycle serviced when several youths suddenly appeared in front of them on Niwari Road. The attackers allegedly stopped them and started beating them with sticks without any apparent reason.
The victims alleged that the attackers also struck them on the head with sticks, leaving both youths injured and bleeding. They sustained injuries to their heads and other parts of the body.
Victims Reach Modinagar Police Station
After the alleged attack, both injured youths somehow reached Modinagar police station and informed the police about the incident. They also submitted a written complaint seeking action against the unidentified attackers.
Police sent both injured youths to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Govindpuri for treatment and medical examination. Doctors conducted their medical examination at the health centre.
Police Checking CCTV Footage
The victims have demanded that the attackers be identified and strict action be taken against them.
Police said that the matter is being investigated on the basis of the written complaint and medical reports. CCTV footage from cameras installed around the incident site is also being examined to identify the alleged attackers.
Police said further action will be taken after the investigation establishes the facts of the case.
