मोदीनगर। ऑटिज्म और विशेष आवश्यकता वाले बच्चों के बेहतर विकास तथा उन्हें गुणवत्तापूर्ण विशेषज्ञ सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में Continua Kids ने मोदीनगर में अपने नए सेंटर का शुभारंभ किया। सेंटर का उद्देश्य ऑटिज्म, विकास संबंधी देरी और अन्य विशेष आवश्यकताओं वाले बच्चों को उनकी व्यक्तिगत जरूरतों के अनुसार वैज्ञानिक एवं विशेषज्ञ आधारित उपचार और प्रशिक्षण उपलब्ध कराना है।
नए सेंटर में बच्चों की संवाद क्षमता, व्यवहार, सीखने की क्षमता, सामाजिक कौशल, संवेदनात्मक विकास और दैनिक जीवन से जुड़े कौशल को बेहतर बनाने पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा। बच्चों की जरूरतों के अनुसार यहां व्यवहार विश्लेषण आधारित चिकित्सा, वाक एवं भाषा चिकित्सा, व्यावसायिक चिकित्सा, विशेष शिक्षा और मनोवैज्ञानिक सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी।
व्यक्तिगत जरूरतों के आधार पर तैयार होगी योजना
Continua Kids की विशेषज्ञ टीम प्रत्येक बच्चे की क्षमताओं और चुनौतियों को समझकर उसकी व्यक्तिगत जरूरतों के अनुसार उपचार एवं प्रशिक्षण योजना तैयार करेगी। सेंटर के शुभारंभ कार्यक्रम के दौरान बच्चों में विकास संबंधी समस्याओं की समय रहते पहचान, शुरुआती हस्तक्षेप और नियमित चिकित्सा एवं प्रशिक्षण के महत्व पर भी चर्चा की गई।
Continua Kids की निदेशक डॉ. पूजा कपूर ने कहा कि ऑटिज्म या विकास संबंधी समस्याओं वाले बच्चों के लिए सही समय पर सही हस्तक्षेप बेहद महत्वपूर्ण होता है। इसी उद्देश्य से मोदीनगर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों के परिवारों को उनके नजदीक विशेषज्ञ सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराने की पहल की गई है, ताकि अभिभावकों को बच्चों की चिकित्सा और प्रशिक्षण के लिए दूसरे शहरों की यात्रा न करनी पड़े।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रत्येक बच्चा अलग होता है और उसकी सीखने तथा विकास की गति भी अलग हो सकती है। इसलिए सेंटर में किसी एक तय पद्धति के बजाय बच्चों की व्यक्तिगत क्षमताओं, चुनौतियों और विकास संबंधी जरूरतों के आधार पर कार्य करने पर जोर दिया जाएगा।
बच्चों को आत्मनिर्भर और आत्मविश्वासी बनाने पर जोर
डॉ. पूजा कपूर ने बताया कि Continua Kids का उद्देश्य बच्चों को केवल चिकित्सा और प्रशिक्षण उपलब्ध कराना नहीं है, बल्कि उन्हें अधिक आत्मनिर्भर, आत्मविश्वासी और सामाजिक रूप से सक्रिय बनाने में सहयोग करना भी है। इसके साथ ही अभिभावकों को बच्चों की जरूरतों को समझने और उनके विकास में सहयोग करने के लिए आवश्यक मार्गदर्शन एवं सहायता उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी।

Continua Kids Opens New Centre in Modinagar, Specialist Services for Children with Autism and Special Needs
Modinagar: Continua Kids has inaugurated its new centre in Modinagar with the aim of providing quality specialist services to children with autism, developmental delays and other special needs. The centre will focus on providing scientific and expert-based therapy and training according to the individual needs of each child.
The new centre will focus on improving children’s communication skills, behaviour, learning abilities, social skills, sensory development and daily living skills. Depending on the needs of each child, the centre will provide services including applied behaviour-based therapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, special education and psychological support.
Individualised Plans for Every Child
A team of specialists at Continua Kids will assess each child’s individual abilities, needs and challenges and prepare an appropriate therapy and training plan. During the inauguration programme, experts also highlighted the importance of early identification, timely intervention and regular therapy and training for children with developmental concerns.
Dr Pooja Kapoor, Director of Continua Kids, said that timely and appropriate intervention is extremely important for children with autism and developmental difficulties. She said the new centre has been established to make specialist services easily accessible to families in Modinagar and nearby areas, reducing the need for parents to travel to other cities for their children’s therapy and training.
She further explained that every child is different and develops and learns at an individual pace. Therefore, the centre will focus on understanding each child’s abilities, challenges and developmental requirements instead of following a single fixed approach for every child.

Dr Pooja Kapoor said Continua Kids aims not only to provide therapy and training but also to help children become more independent, confident and socially active. The centre will also provide parents with appropriate guidance and support to help them better understand and participate in their child’s development.
