Gorakhpur Fire Accident : गोरखपुर के रामगढ़ताल थाना क्षेत्र में गुरुवार सुबह कुशीनगर-लखनऊ हाईवे पर ट्रक और डंपर की जोरदार टक्कर के बाद भीषण आग लग गई। हादसा इतना भयावह था कि डंपर चालक और क्लीनर जिंदा जल गए और मौके पर केवल उनके कंकाल ही बचे। वहीं ट्रक चालक और खलासी गंभीर रूप से झुलस गए, जिन्होंने किसी तरह कूदकर अपनी जान बचाई।
आग की लपटें कई किलोमीटर दूर तक दिखीं, 5 दमकल गाड़ियों ने पाया काबू
हादसे के बाद आग ने देखते ही देखते दोनों वाहनों को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया। आग की तपिश इतनी ज्यादा थी कि दमकलकर्मी भी तुरंत पास नहीं जा सके। धुएं का गुबार और आग की लपटें कई किलोमीटर दूर से दिखाई दे रही थीं।
मौके पर पहुंची फायर ब्रिगेड की 5 गाड़ियों ने करीब 1 घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया। हादसे की वजह से हाईवे पर करीब 5 किलोमीटर लंबा जाम लग गया। पुलिस और स्थानीय लोगों ने राहत एवं बचाव कार्य शुरू किया।
रॉन्ग साइड से आए डंपर से हुई टक्कर, जांच में जुटी पुलिस
जानकारी के मुताबिक मक्का से लदा ट्रक कुशीनगर से लखनऊ की ओर जा रहा था। सुबह करीब 5 बजे अजवनिया गांव के पास एक डंपर रॉन्ग साइड से आ गया, जिसके बाद दोनों वाहनों में जोरदार टक्कर हो गई। टक्कर के तुरंत बाद ट्रक पलट गया और उसमें आग लग गई।
आग ने डंपर को भी अपनी चपेट में ले लिया, जिससे चालक सत्येंद्र और क्लीनर शिवा बाहर नहीं निकल सके। पुलिस ने बताया कि आग बुझने के बाद डंपर के अंदर केवल कंकाल मिले। दोनों शवों की पहचान DNA जांच के बाद की जाएगी।

Gorakhpur Fire Accident : A horrific road accident took place on Thursday morning in Gorakhpur’s Ramgarh Tal area after a truck and dumper collided on the Kushinagar-Lucknow Highway. The impact triggered a massive fire in which the dumper driver and cleaner were burned alive, leaving behind only skeletal remains. Meanwhile, the truck driver and helper suffered severe burn injuries but managed to save themselves by jumping out of the vehicle.
Flames Visible From Kilometers Away, 5 Fire Tenders Controlled Blaze
Soon after the collision, both vehicles were engulfed in flames within minutes. The fire was so intense that firefighters could not immediately go near the vehicles. Huge flames and thick black smoke were visible from several kilometers away.
Five fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and managed to control the fire after nearly an hour of continuous effort. Due to the accident, a traffic jam stretching around 5 kilometers formed on the highway. Police and local residents also joined the rescue operation.
Dumper Came From Wrong Side, Police Investigation Underway
According to initial information, the truck loaded with corn was traveling from Kushinagar to Lucknow. Around 5 AM near Ajwania village, a dumper reportedly came from the wrong side, leading to a head-on collision between the two vehicles. Immediately after the crash, the truck overturned and caught fire.
The flames quickly spread to the dumper, trapping driver Satyendra and cleaner Shiva inside. Both were unable to escape and were burned alive. Police officials said that after the fire was extinguished, only skeletal remains were recovered from inside the dumper. DNA testing will now be conducted to confirm the identities of the victims.
