मोदीनगर, गाजियाबाद: उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद जिले के मोदीनगर क्षेत्र के गांव रोरी में मोबाइल टावर लगाए जाने के प्रस्ताव को लेकर ग्रामीणों ने विरोध जताया है। शुक्रवार को बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण मोदीनगर तहसील पहुंचे और टावर लगाने की प्रक्रिया पर रोक लगाने की मांग करते हुए तहसीलदार को ज्ञापन सौंपा।
मोबाइल टावर से स्वास्थ्य पर असर पड़ने की आशंका
ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि गांव में मोबाइल टावर लगाए जाने से लोगों के स्वास्थ्य और आसपास के वातावरण पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ने की आशंका है। इसी चिंता को लेकर ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन के सामने अपनी आपत्तियां दर्ज कराईं। उन्होंने मांग की कि मोबाइल टावर लगाने से संबंधित मामले की जांच कराई जाए और ग्रामीणों की चिंताओं पर गंभीरता से विचार किया जाए।
ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से की कार्रवाई की मांग
ज्ञापन सौंपने पहुंचे ग्रामीणों ने अधिकारियों से मांग की कि गांव में मोबाइल टावर लगाने की प्रक्रिया को लेकर सभी पहलुओं की जांच की जाए। उनका कहना है कि किसी भी निर्णय से पहले ग्रामीणों की समस्याओं और आपत्तियों को सुना जाना चाहिए। ग्रामीण चाहते हैं कि प्रशासन उनकी चिंताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए मामले में उचित कदम उठाए।
मांगें नहीं मानी गईं तो धरना-प्रदर्शन की चेतावनी
ग्रामीणों ने चेतावनी दी कि यदि उनकी मांगों को नजरअंदाज किया गया और गांव में मोबाइल टावर लगाने का काम आगे बढ़ाया गया, तो वे आंदोलन करने के लिए मजबूर होंगे। जरूरत पड़ने पर ग्रामीण एकजुट होकर धरना-प्रदर्शन भी करेंगे।
फिलहाल, ग्रामीणों ने मोदीनगर तहसील में ज्ञापन सौंपकर प्रशासन से हस्तक्षेप करने और मामले का समाधान कराने की मांग की है। अब ग्रामीणों को प्रशासन की कार्रवाई का इंतजार है।

On Friday, a large number of villagers reached the Modinagar tehsil office and submitted a memorandum to the tehsildar, requesting a halt to the installation process.
Villagers Raise Health and Environmental Concerns
The villagers expressed concerns that installing a mobile tower could adversely affect public health and the surrounding environment. They urged the administration to examine their objections and consider their concerns before allowing the proposed work to proceed.
Residents said that their concerns should be heard and all relevant aspects of the proposal should be reviewed in accordance with applicable rules. Through the memorandum, they requested the authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
Residents Demand Administrative Intervention
The villagers asked the administration to look into the proposed mobile tower installation and address their concerns. They stressed that residents should be consulted before any decision is taken regarding the installation in the village.
The memorandum was submitted to the tehsildar at the Modinagar tehsil office, with the villagers seeking the administration’s intervention in the matter.
Villagers Warn of Protest
The residents warned that they could launch a protest if their demands were ignored and the mobile tower installation process continued. They said villagers could unite to organise a sit-in protest if necessary.
The matter has now been brought to the attention of the local administration. Residents are awaiting further action from the authorities.
