रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की अध्यक्षता में हुई DAC बैठक में सेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना के लिए बड़े रक्षा खरीद प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी गई।
नई दिल्ली: भारत सरकार ने देश की सैन्य ताकत और रक्षा क्षमताओं को मजबूत करने के लिए करीब ₹1.10 लाख करोड़ के बड़े रक्षा खरीद प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दे दी है। इन प्रस्तावों में एडवांस्ड लाइट हेलीकॉप्टर, रडार, मैकेनिकल माइन लेयर्स, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वॉरफेयर सिस्टम और अन्य आधुनिक सैन्य उपकरण शामिल हैं।
इन प्रस्तावों को रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह की अध्यक्षता वाली Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) ने मंजूरी दी। सरकार का उद्देश्य भारतीय सेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना की ऑपरेशनल क्षमता को मजबूत करने के साथ-साथ रक्षा निर्माण में आत्मनिर्भरता को बढ़ावा देना है।
₹1.10 लाख करोड़ के रक्षा खरीद प्रस्तावों को मिली मंजूरी
रक्षा मंत्रालय के अनुसार, DAC ने लगभग ₹1,10,000 करोड़ की रक्षा खरीद परियोजनाओं के लिए Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) प्रदान की है।
AoN रक्षा खरीद प्रक्रिया का शुरुआती और महत्वपूर्ण चरण होता है। इसके बाद संबंधित सैन्य उपकरणों और प्रणालियों की खरीद एवं विकास की प्रक्रिया आगे बढ़ती है।
भारतीय सेना को मिलेंगे आधुनिक सैन्य उपकरण
भारतीय सेना के लिए मंजूर किए गए प्रमुख उपकरणों में शामिल हैं:
- CBRN Reconnaissance Vehicles
- High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs)
- Self-Propelled Mechanical Mine Layers
- Advanced Light Helicopters (ALHs)
- Trawl Tanks
- Sarvatra Bridge System
CBRN वाहन बढ़ाएंगे सुरक्षा क्षमता
CBRN यानी Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Reconnaissance Vehicles का इस्तेमाल उन क्षेत्रों की पहचान और निगरानी के लिए किया जाएगा, जहां रासायनिक, जैविक, रेडियोलॉजिकल या परमाणु तत्वों का खतरा हो सकता है।
ये वाहन युद्ध या आपातकालीन परिस्थितियों में सैनिकों की सुरक्षा और खतरे वाले क्षेत्रों की निगरानी में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे।
मुश्किल इलाकों में सेना की ताकत बढ़ाएंगे हाई मोबिलिटी व्हीकल
मंजूर किए गए High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs) कठिन और चुनौतीपूर्ण इलाकों में सैनिकों की आवाजाही और सैन्य सामान पहुंचाने में मदद करेंगे।
इन वाहनों के जरिए भारतीय सेना की लॉजिस्टिक क्षमता और तेज मूवमेंट को मजबूती मिलने की उम्मीद है।
सेना और वायुसेना को मिलेंगे Advanced Light Helicopters
DAC ने Advanced Light Helicopters (ALHs) के लिए भी मंजूरी दी है। इन हेलीकॉप्टरों का इस्तेमाल भारतीय सेना और भारतीय वायुसेना दोनों द्वारा किया जाएगा।
ALH विभिन्न भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों और अलग-अलग मिशनों में उपयोग किए जा सकेंगे, जिससे भारत की हवाई सैन्य क्षमता को मजबूती मिलेगी।
Trawl Tanks और Sarvatra Bridge System से बढ़ेगी युद्ध क्षमता
भारतीय सेना के लिए मंजूर किए गए Trawl Tanks और Sarvatra Bridge System युद्ध के दौरान सैन्य टुकड़ियों की आवाजाही को आसान बनाएंगे।
Sarvatra Bridge System विशेष रूप से नदियों, खाइयों और अन्य बाधाओं को पार करने में सैन्य बलों की मदद करेगा। इससे युद्ध के दौरान सैनिकों और सैन्य वाहनों की तेज आवाजाही संभव हो सकेगी।
भारतीय नौसेना को मिलेंगे Arudhra Radars
भारतीय नौसेना के लिए DAC ने Arudhra Radars की खरीद को मंजूरी दी है।
इन रडारों का इस्तेमाल नौसेना के एयर स्टेशनों पर मौजूदा एयर-रूट सर्विलांस रडारों को बदलने के लिए किया जाएगा। नए रडारों से नौसेना की निगरानी और सुरक्षा क्षमता को और मजबूत करने की उम्मीद है।
भारत में विकसित होंगे Marine Gas Turbines
DAC ने Marine Gas Turbines (MGT) के डिजाइन, विकास और बाद में खरीद को भी मंजूरी दी है।
Marine Gas Turbines युद्धपोतों की प्रोपल्शन प्रणाली का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा हैं। भारत में इनके विकास से विदेशी सप्लायर्स पर निर्भरता कम करने और घरेलू रक्षा निर्माण को बढ़ावा देने में मदद मिलेगी।
वायुसेना को मिलेंगे आधुनिक जैमर और सिक्योर सिस्टम
भारतीय वायुसेना के लिए भी कई महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी गई है।
इनमें शामिल हैं:
- Ground-Based Multi-Purpose Jammer (GBMPJ)
- Defence Forces Secure Access Card System
Ground-Based Multi-Purpose Jammer भारतीय वायुसेना की इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वॉरफेयर क्षमता को मजबूत करेगा। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक युद्ध के आधुनिक दौर में जैमर दुश्मन के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक और संचार सिस्टम को प्रभावित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
वहीं, Defence Forces Secure Access Card System से रक्षा प्रतिष्ठानों और महत्वपूर्ण सैन्य प्रणालियों की सुरक्षित पहुंच को मजबूत करने में मदद मिलेगी।
आत्मनिर्भर भारत को मिलेगा बढ़ावा
₹1.10 लाख करोड़ के इन रक्षा खरीद प्रस्तावों को भारत के रक्षा क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भरता की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम माना जा रहा है।
सरकार लगातार घरेलू रक्षा उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने और विदेशी उपकरणों पर निर्भरता कम करने पर जोर दे रही है। Marine Gas Turbines जैसे महत्वपूर्ण सिस्टम का भारत में डिजाइन और विकास इसी रणनीति का हिस्सा है।

The Defence Acquisition Council, headed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has approved major military procurement proposals aimed at strengthening India’s Army, Navy and Air Force.
New Delhi: India has approved major defence procurement proposals worth approximately Rs 1.10 lakh crore, paving the way for the acquisition and development of advanced military equipment for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.
The proposals were cleared by the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, as part of efforts to strengthen the operational capabilities of India’s armed forces and boost self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
The Defence Ministry said the DAC granted Acceptance of Necessity (AoN), the first major stage in the defence procurement process, for acquisitions estimated at around Rs 1,10,000 crore.

The latest approvals cover a wide range of advanced military platforms and systems, including:
- Advanced Light Helicopters

Indian Army To Get CBRN Vehicles And Mechanical Mine Layers
For the Indian Army, the DAC approved the procurement of several important military platforms, including:
- Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Reconnaissance Vehicles
- High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs)
- Self-Propelled Mechanical Mine Layers
- Advanced Light Helicopters
- Trawl Tanks
- Sarvatra Bridge System
The CBRN reconnaissance vehicles will help detect and monitor areas contaminated by chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear agents.
These specialised vehicles are expected to play an important role in protecting troops and identifying hazardous areas during military operations.
High Mobility Vehicles To Improve Army Logistics
The approval for High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs) is expected to strengthen troop movement and logistics support, particularly in difficult and challenging terrain.
The vehicles will help the Indian Army improve mobility and transport capabilities during military deployments and operations.
Advanced Light Helicopters For Army And Air Force
The DAC has also approved the procurement of Advanced Light Helicopters (ALHs) for the Indian Army and Indian Air Force.
The helicopters will be used for operations across different terrains and mission requirements, improving the flexibility and mobility of India’s armed forces.
ALHs are expected to support a range of military operations and strengthen India’s ability to deploy personnel and equipment efficiently.
Trawl Tanks And Sarvatra Bridge System To Support Combat Operations
The Indian Army will also receive Trawl Tanks and the Sarvatra Bridge System under the approved proposals.
These systems will help combat formations maintain mobility during military operations and overcome obstacles and difficult crossings.
The Sarvatra Bridge System is particularly important for enabling troops and military vehicles to cross natural and operational barriers quickly.
Indian Navy To Get Arudhra Radars
For the Indian Navy, the DAC approved the procurement of Arudhra Radars.
The new radars will replace existing air-route surveillance radars at naval air stations, strengthening the Navy’s surveillance and monitoring capabilities.
Improved radar systems are expected to enhance situational awareness and support India’s maritime security operations.
Marine Gas Turbines To Boost Defence Self-Reliance
The DAC also approved the design, development and subsequent procurement of Marine Gas Turbines (MGT).
Marine Gas Turbines are a key component of warship propulsion systems. Developing these systems domestically is expected to reduce India’s dependence on foreign suppliers and support the country’s push for self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
The project is also expected to provide a boost to India’s domestic defence technology ecosystem.
Indian Air Force To Get Advanced Jammers
The Indian Air Force received approval for several projects aimed at strengthening the capabilities of fighter aircraft, transport fleets and helicopters.
The approved projects include:
- Ground-Based Multi-Purpose Jammer (GBMPJ)
- Defence Forces Secure Access Card System
The Ground-Based Multi-Purpose Jammer is expected to strengthen India’s electronic warfare capabilities.
