Modinagar Rape Attempt Case : गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में दुष्कर्म के प्रयास के आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर मंगलवार को लोगों ने थाने पर प्रदर्शन किया। पीड़िता और उसके परिवार का आरोप है कि आरोपी लगातार समझौते का दबाव बना रहा है और विरोध करने पर जान से मारने की धमकी दे रहा है।
पीड़िता के अनुसार 10 मई की रात आरोपी घर में घुस आया और दुष्कर्म का प्रयास किया। विरोध करने पर महिला और उसके चार साल के बेटे के साथ मारपीट की गई। मामले में पुलिस पहले ही मुकदमा दर्ज कर चुकी है, लेकिन आरोपी अब तक गिरफ्त से बाहर है।
पुलिस ने जल्द गिरफ्तारी का दिया आश्वासन
मंगलवार को बड़ी संख्या में लोग पीड़िता के समर्थन में मोदीनगर थाने पहुंचे और आरोपी की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी की मांग की। प्रदर्शन के दौरान थाना प्रभारी और एसीपी मोदीनगर ने लोगों को भरोसा दिलाया कि आरोपी को जल्द गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा। इसके बाद प्रदर्शन शांत हुआ।

Modinagar Rape Attempt Case : People staged a protest at Modinagar police station in Ghaziabad on Tuesday, demanding the immediate arrest of an accused involved in an attempted rape case. The victim and her family alleged that the accused was continuously pressuring them for a compromise and threatening to kill the family if they refused.
According to the victim, on the night of May 10, the accused entered her house and attempted to rape her. When she resisted, the accused allegedly assaulted both the woman and her four-year-old son. Although the police had already registered a case in the matter, the accused has not been arrested yet.
Police Assure Early Arrest
A large number of people gathered at the Modinagar police station in support of the victim and demanded strict action against the accused. During the protest, the Station House Officer and ACP Modinagar assured the protesters that the accused would be arrested soon. Following the assurance, the protest ended peacefully.
