UP News: Rahul Gandhi Convoy Accident उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेसवे पर सोमवार, 26 अक्टूबर 2026 को कांग्रेस सांसद राहुल गांधी के काफिले के पीछे चल रहे वाहनों का हादसा हो गया। सुल्तानपुर जिले के हलियापुर क्षेत्र में हुई इस घटना में काफिले की पांच गाड़ियां और एक एंबुलेंस शामिल बताई गई हैं। राहुल गांधी सुरक्षित रहे। शुरुआती रिपोर्टों में कुछ लोगों के घायल होने की जानकारी दी गई, जबकि पुलिस के हवाले से आई अन्य रिपोर्टों में किसी के घायल नहीं होने की बात कही गई है।
पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेसवे पर कैसे हुआ हादसा?
मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, राहुल गांधी सोमवार सुबह लखनऊ के चौधरी चरण सिंह अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पहुंचे थे। इसके बाद वह सुल्तानपुर में विशेष एमपी-एमएलए अदालत में पेश होने के लिए सड़क मार्ग से रवाना हुए।
इसी दौरान सुल्तानपुर जिले के हलियापुर क्षेत्र में पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेसवे पर उनके काफिले के पीछे चल रहे वाहनों की टक्कर हो गई। यह घटना एक्सप्रेसवे के करीब 90 से 91 किलोमीटर के माइलस्टोन के आसपास बताई गई है।
रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, हादसे में चार निजी गाड़ियां और एक एंबुलेंस शामिल थीं। हालांकि, सभी वाहनों के बीच टक्कर किस क्रम में हुई, इसे लेकर शुरुआती रिपोर्टों में अंतर सामने आया है।
अचानक ब्रेक लगने से टकराईं गाड़ियां
द न्यू इंडियन एक्सप्रेस और द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, काफिले के आगे चल रही एक निजी गाड़ी के अचानक ब्रेक लगाने के बाद पीछे चल रहे चार निजी वाहन आपस में टकरा गए।
वहीं, कुछ अन्य मीडिया रिपोर्टों में एंबुलेंस को भी इस दुर्घटना में शामिल बताया गया है। इसलिए यह स्पष्ट रूप से कहना उचित नहीं होगा कि काफिले की सभी पांच गाड़ियां सीधे एंबुलेंस से टकराईं।
घटना से जुड़े सीसीटीवी फुटेज में कई गाड़ियां एक-दूसरे के काफी करीब दिखाई दीं। एक स्कॉर्पियो एसयूवी के अगले हिस्से को भी नुकसान पहुंचा था।
राहुल गांधी सुरक्षित, घायलों को लेकर अलग-अलग रिपोर्ट
हादसे के बाद राहुल गांधी के सुरक्षित होने की जानकारी सामने आई। कुछ शुरुआती मीडिया रिपोर्टों में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं और सुरक्षाकर्मियों के घायल होने की बात कही गई।
हालांकि, पुलिस के बयान पर आधारित अन्य रिपोर्टों में घटना को मामूली टक्कर बताया गया और किसी के घायल नहीं होने की जानकारी दी गई। इसलिए घायलों की संख्या और उनकी स्थिति को लेकर आधिकारिक पुष्टि आवश्यक है।
सुल्तानपुर की अदालत में पेश होने जा रहे थे राहुल गांधी
राहुल गांधी सुल्तानपुर की विशेष एमपी-एमएलए अदालत में मानहानि के मामले से संबंधित कार्यवाही के लिए जा रहे थे। यह मामला भाजपा के तत्कालीन राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अमित शाह के खिलाफ कथित टिप्पणी से जुड़ा है।
शिकायत के अनुसार, भाजपा नेता विजय मिश्रा ने 4 अगस्त 2018 को राहुल गांधी के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी। आरोप था कि राहुल गांधी ने 2018 के कर्नाटक विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले बेंगलुरु में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान अमित शाह को लेकर कथित आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी की थी।
इसी मामले में अदालत में सुनवाई और फैसले की कार्यवाही के लिए राहुल गांधी की उपस्थिति आवश्यक थी।

According to reports published by The Indian Express and The New Indian Express, a private vehicle travelling ahead suddenly applied its brakes, causing four private vehicles following the convoy to collide with one another.
Other reports also mentioned the involvement of an ambulance in the incident.
Therefore, it has not been conclusively established that all five vehicles directly collided with the ambulance. The exact sequence of events should be understood in the context of the differing initial reports.
CCTV footage from the accident site reportedly showed vehicles positioned close together. A Scorpio SUV was also seen with damage to its front section.
