Modinagar News: गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर क्षेत्र के सीकरी कला गांव में निर्माणाधीन लेंटर गिरने से बड़ा हादसा हो गया। चाइना रोड पर करीब 2000 वर्गफुट क्षेत्र में डाला जा रहा लेंटर अचानक भरभराकर गिर गया, जिसके नीचे कई मजदूर दब गए। हादसे में 30 वर्षीय मजदूर छोटू की मौत हो गई, जबकि कई अन्य मजदूर घायल हो गए। घटना के बाद पुलिस, एसडीआरएफ और एनडीआरएफ की टीमों ने मौके पर पहुंचकर रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चलाया।

सीकरी कला में कैसे हुआ हादसा?

जानकारी के अनुसार, थाना मोदीनगर क्षेत्र की महामाया चौकी के अंतर्गत सीकरी कला गांव में चाइना रोड पर निर्माण कार्य चल रहा था। इसी दौरान करीब 2000 वर्गफुट में डाला जा रहा लेंटर अचानक गिर गया। हादसे के समय वहां कई मजदूर काम कर रहे थे। लेंटर गिरते ही मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई और कई मजदूर मलबे में दब गए।

सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और राहत-बचाव टीमें घटनास्थल पर पहुंचीं। एसडीआरएफ और एनडीआरएफ की टीमों ने मलबे में फंसे मजदूरों को बाहर निकालने के लिए रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चलाया। घायलों को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया।

मजदूर छोटू की मौत, कई घायल

इस हादसे में 30 वर्षीय छोटू निवासी फरीदनगर की मौत हो गई। बताया गया है कि छोटू लेंटर की शटरिंग का ठेका लेकर काम करा रहे थे और शटरिंग की जिम्मेदारी उन्हीं के पास थी।

वहीं, ठेकेदार पप्पू (43) पिछले करीब एक महीने से निर्माण कार्य करा रहे थे। उनके भाई मनोज (37) हादसे में गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए, जिन्हें जीवन अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।

इसके अलावा शोभित (32) निवासी भोजपुर पट्टी के सिर और पैर में चोट आई है। मजदूर दीपक अमर (30) निवासी मलियाना, मेरठ पिछले छह दिनों से निर्माण स्थल पर काम कर रहे थे, जबकि सचिन (28) करीब दस दिनों से वहां मजदूरी कर रहे थे।

SDRF और NDRF ने चलाया रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन

हादसे की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पुलिस के साथ एसडीआरएफ और एनडीआरएफ की टीमें मौके पर पहुंचीं। बचाव दलों ने मलबे में दबे मजदूरों को निकालने के लिए काफी देर तक अभियान चलाया। घायलों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराकर उपचार कराया गया।

लेंटर गिरने की वजह का पता लगाने में जुटी पुलिस

फिलहाल निर्माणाधीन लेंटर गिरने के कारणों का पता नहीं चल सका है। हादसे के बाद निर्माण स्थल पर सुरक्षा मानकों और शटरिंग की मजबूती को लेकर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है। जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही हादसे की वास्तविक वजह स्पष्ट हो सकेगी।

Modinagar News: A major accident occurred in Sikri Kalan village under Modinagar police station limits in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, after an under-construction concrete roof slab collapsed on China Road. The slab, being constructed over an area of approximately 2,000 square feet, suddenly gave way, trapping several workers under the debris. A 30-year-old worker identified as Chhotu died in the incident, while several others sustained injuries. Police, SDRF and NDRF teams reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.

How Did the Slab Collapse in Sikri Kalan?

According to available information, construction work was underway on China Road in Sikri Kalan village, which falls under the Mahamaya Police Outpost area of Modinagar. Several workers were present at the site when the concrete roof slab suddenly collapsed.

The incident triggered panic at the construction site, with multiple workers trapped beneath the debris. Following the incident, police and emergency response teams rushed to the location and began rescue operations.

One Worker Dead, Several Injured

The deceased worker has been identified as 30-year-old Chhotu, a resident of Faridnagar. He had reportedly taken the contract for the slab shuttering work and was supervising the shuttering arrangements.

Contractor Pappu, aged 43, had reportedly been carrying out construction work at the site for around a month. His brother Manoj, aged 37, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Jeevan Hospital.

Another worker, Shobhit (32), a resident of Bhojpur Patti, suffered injuries to his head and leg. Deepak Amar (30), a resident of Maliana in Meerut, had been working at the site for the past six days, while Sachin (28) had reportedly been working there for around ten days.

SDRF and NDRF Launch Rescue Operation

After receiving information about the accident, police, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams reached the site.

The rescue teams worked to remove debris and evacuate workers trapped beneath the collapsed slab. The injured workers were shifted to hospitals for medical treatment.

Police Investigating the Cause of the Accident

The exact reason behind the collapse of the under-construction slab has not yet been established. Questions have also been raised regarding construction safety standards and the strength of the shuttering arrangements at the site.

Police are investigating the incident. The actual cause of the accident is expected to become clear after the investigation.
