Meerut Sealing Controversy: मेरठ के शास्त्रीनगर स्थित सेंट्रल मार्केट में दुकानों की सीलिंग को लेकर दूसरे दिन भी हंगामा जारी रहा। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश पर 44 संपत्तियों को सील करने की कार्रवाई शुरू की गई। सीलिंग की कार्रवाई के दौरान एक व्यापारी को हार्ट अटैक आ गया। साथी व्यापारियों ने तुरंत उन्हें अस्पताल पहुंचाया, जहां उनका इलाज जारी है।
दुकानों को सील होता देख व्यापारी सड़क पर उतर आए और प्रदर्शन किया। महिलाएं फूट-फूटकर रोने लगीं। व्यापारियों ने आरोप लगाया कि अधिकारियों की बेईमानी और गलत जानकारी के कारण उन्हें नुकसान उठाना पड़ रहा है।
हंगामे के बीच सपा नेता मौके पर पहुंचे और नारेबाजी की। इस पर ADM सिटी और सपा नेता के बीच तीखी बहस भी हुई। प्रशासन ने चेतावनी दी कि मौके पर राजनीति न करें।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट का आदेश
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने 44 संपत्तियों को सील करने का आदेश दिया है। कोर्ट ने पहले भी अधिकारियों को फटकार लगाते हुए कार्रवाई में देरी पर सवाल उठाए थे।
यह मामला आवासीय प्लॉट पर हो रही व्यावसायिक गतिविधियों से जुड़ा है। कोर्ट ने पहले भी ऐसी गतिविधियों को रोकने और रिपोर्ट दाखिल करने के निर्देश दिए थे।
सीलिंग की कार्रवाई जारी है और व्यापारियों का विरोध भी बढ़ रहा है। प्रशासन और व्यापारियों के बीच टकराव की स्थिति बनी हुई है।

Meerut Sealing Controversy: The sealing of shops in Central Market, Shastri Nagar, Meerut, continued to cause chaos for the second day. Acting on the Supreme Court’s order, authorities began sealing 44 properties. During the operation, a trader suffered a heart attack. Fellow traders rushed him to the hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
As shops were being sealed, traders came out on the streets and protested. Women were seen crying, and traders alleged that they were misled by officials and are now facing losses due to alleged corruption and misinformation.
Amid the protest, a Samajwadi Party leader reached the spot and raised slogans against the government. This led to a heated argument between the ADM City and the SP leader, with the administration warning against politicizing the issue.
Supreme Court Order
The Supreme Court has ordered the sealing of 44 properties. Earlier, the court had also questioned officials over delays in action and reprimanded them.
The issue is related to commercial activities being carried out on residential plots. The court had previously directed authorities to stop such activities and submit a detailed report.
The sealing drive is still ongoing, and protests by traders are intensifying, leading to a tense situation between the administration and the business community.
