तमिलनाडु: अभिनेता से राजनेता बने मुख्यमंत्री विजय ने महिलाओं के खिलाफ अभद्र, अश्लील और अपमानजनक भाषा के इस्तेमाल पर कड़ा रुख अपनाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजनीतिक आलोचना करना सभी का अधिकार है, लेकिन महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपमानजनक या मानहानिकारक टिप्पणियां किसी भी स्थिति में बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएंगी।
विजय ने कहा कि उनकी राजनीतिक सफलता के पीछे महिलाओं का बड़ा योगदान रहा है और वह महिलाओं के प्रति किसी भी तरह की अभद्र भाषा को स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे।
महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपमानजनक टिप्पणी पर विजय की चेतावनी
अपने संबोधन के दौरान विजय ने अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता और उसकी जिम्मेदारियों का जिक्र किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हर व्यक्ति को अपनी बात रखने का अधिकार है, लेकिन इस अधिकार का इस्तेमाल किस तरह किया जाता है, इस पर भी विचार किया जाना चाहिए।
उन्होंने लोगों से राजनीतिक कारणों से महिलाओं या अन्य लोगों को अपमानित नहीं करने की अपील की।
विजय ने कहा कि हाल के दिनों में तमिलनाडु में अश्लील और दुर्भावनापूर्ण टिप्पणियों का माहौल बढ़ता दिखाई दे रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी व्यक्ति को महिलाओं के बारे में बोलते समय यह याद रखना चाहिए कि हर परिवार में मां और बहनें होती हैं।
उन्होंने लोगों से महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपमानजनक, अश्लील और दोहरे अर्थ वाली टिप्पणियां करने से बचने की अपील की।
त्रिशा विवाद के कुछ दिनों बाद आया बयान
विजय का यह बयान अभिनेता त्रिशा से जुड़े हालिया विवाद के कुछ दिनों बाद आया है। विपक्ष के नेता उदयनिधि स्टालिन पर अभिनेत्री त्रिशा के खिलाफ कथित रूप से आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी करने का आरोप लगा था।
इस विवाद के बाद विजय ने स्पष्ट संदेश देते हुए कहा कि राजनीतिक मुद्दों पर कड़ी आलोचना की जा सकती है, लेकिन महिलाओं के खिलाफ व्यक्तिगत और अपमानजनक टिप्पणियां स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी।

उन्होंने कहा कि अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का मतलब किसी व्यक्ति, विशेष रूप से महिलाओं की गरिमा को ठेस पहुंचाना नहीं है।
