मोदीनगर: मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में शनिवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा सामने आया। हरिद्वार से गंगाजल लेकर बल्लभगढ़ लौट रहे एक कांवड़िए को नमो भारत ट्रेन के पिलर नंबर 1334 के पास अज्ञात वाहन ने टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में कांवड़िया गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया।
सड़क पार करते समय हुआ हादसा
जानकारी के अनुसार, घायल कांवड़िए की पहचान राकेश, निवासी बल्लभगढ़, दिल्ली के रूप में हुई है। राकेश 21 कांवड़ियों की टोली के साथ हरिद्वार से जल लेकर अपने घर लौट रहे थे।
बताया गया कि मोदीनगर पहुंचने के बाद राकेश सड़क पार कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान तेज रफ्तार अज्ञात वाहन ने उन्हें जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि राकेश का एक पैर फ्रैक्चर हो गया और शरीर के कई हिस्सों में गंभीर चोटें आईं।
साथी कांवड़ियों ने पहुंचाया अस्पताल
हादसे के बाद मौके पर मौजूद साथी कांवड़ियों और स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत घायल राकेश की मदद की। एंबुलेंस की सहायता से उन्हें गोविंदपुरी सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (सीएचसी) पहुंचाया गया।
सीएचसी में डॉक्टरों ने प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उनकी गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए उन्हें बेहतर इलाज के लिए गाजियाबाद के उच्च चिकित्सा केंद्र रेफर कर दिया।
CCTV फुटेज खंगाल रही पुलिस
घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद मोदीनगर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल के आसपास लगे CCTV कैमरों की फुटेज खंगालनी शुरू कर दी है।
पुलिस अज्ञात वाहन और उसके चालक की पहचान करने में जुटी हुई है। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, वाहन चालक की पहचान होने के बाद उसके खिलाफ आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
कांवड़ियों से सावधानी बरतने की अपील
हादसे के बाद कांवड़ियों की टोली में कुछ समय के लिए अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया। साथी कांवड़ियों ने घायल राकेश के जल्द स्वस्थ होने की प्रार्थना की।
कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान सड़कों पर यातायात का दबाव बढ़ने के कारण पुलिस और प्रशासन लोगों से सड़क पार करते समय विशेष सावधानी बरतने की अपील कर रहे हैं। वाहन चालकों से भी कांवड़ मार्गों पर धीमी गति से वाहन चलाने और कांवड़ियों की सुरक्षा का ध्यान रखने की अपील की गई है।
Kanwariya Hit by Unknown Vehicle in Modinagar, Suffers Leg Fracture; Referred to Ghaziabad
Modinagar: A painful road accident was reported in the Modinagar police station area on Saturday when a Kanwariya returning from Haridwar with holy Ganga water was hit by an unidentified vehicle. The accident took place near Namo Bharat train pillar number 1334 while the Kanwariya was crossing the road.
Kanwariya Hit While Crossing Road
The injured Kanwariya has been identified as Rakesh, a resident of Ballabhgarh, Delhi. According to information, Rakesh was returning to Ballabhgarh with a group of 21 Kanwariyas after collecting holy water from Haridwar.
When the group reached Modinagar, Rakesh was crossing the road when a speeding unidentified vehicle hit him. The impact was severe, leaving him with a fractured leg and serious injuries to several parts of his body.
Injured Kanwariya Taken to Hospital
Following the accident, fellow Kanwariyas and local residents immediately came to Rakesh’s assistance. He was taken by ambulance to the Govindpuri Community Health Centre (CHC) for medical treatment.
Doctors provided initial treatment at the health centre but, considering the seriousness of his condition, referred him to a higher medical facility in Ghaziabad for further treatment.
Police Search for Unknown Vehicle
After receiving information about the accident, Modinagar police reached the spot and began investigating the incident. Police officials are checking CCTV camera footage installed around the accident site to identify the vehicle involved.
Authorities are currently searching for the unidentified vehicle and its driver. Police officials said that necessary legal action would be taken after the driver is identified.
Kanwariyas Urged to Remain Cautious
The accident created a tense situation among the group of Kanwariyas travelling with Rakesh. His fellow Kanwariyas were seen praying for his speedy recovery.
With increased traffic pressure during the Kanwar Yatra, authorities have urged pedestrians and motorists to remain particularly cautious. People crossing roads along Kanwar routes have also been advised to exercise extra care to prevent accidents.
