मोदीनगर: मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में गाय ले जा रही तीन महिलाओं के साथ कथित मारपीट और अभद्रता के मामले ने अब तूल पकड़ लिया है। घटना के विरोध में बुधवार को बड़ी संख्या में लोग मोदीनगर थाने पहुंचे और थाने का घेराव करते हुए हिंदू रक्षा दल से जुड़ी सपना अग्रवाल समेत अन्य आरोपियों की जल्द गिरफ्तारी की मांग की।
प्रदर्शनकारियों ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ दर्ज मुकदमे में और कड़ी धाराएं जोड़ने के साथ-साथ गुंडा एक्ट के तहत कार्रवाई किए जाने की भी मांग की। इस दौरान थाना परिसर में काफी संख्या में लोग मौजूद रहे और आरोपियों के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की गई।
महिलाओं से मारपीट का क्या है पूरा मामला?
बताया जा रहा है कि यह घटना 3 अगस्त को मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में हुई थी। आरोप है कि तीन महिलाएं गाय लेकर जा रही थीं, तभी हिंदू रक्षा दल से जुड़ी सपना अग्रवाल और उनके साथ मौजूद कुछ लोगों ने उन्हें रोक लिया।
आरोप है कि महिलाओं पर गौ तस्करी का आरोप लगाते हुए उनके साथ कथित तौर पर मारपीट और अभद्रता की गई। महिलाओं को थप्पड़ और जूते से मारने तथा घटना का वीडियो बनाने के भी आरोप लगाए गए हैं।
घटना से जुड़े कुछ वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुए हैं। वीडियो में महिलाओं के साथ कथित मारपीट होती दिखाई दे रही है। हालांकि, वायरल वीडियो की स्वतंत्र रूप से पुष्टि की जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है।
मोदीनगर थाने का किया गया घेराव
घटना के विरोध में बुधवार को बड़ी संख्या में लोग मोदीनगर थाने पहुंचे। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने थाना परिसर में नारेबाजी करते हुए आरोपियों की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी की मांग की।
प्रदर्शनकारियों का कहना है कि महिलाओं के साथ सार्वजनिक स्थान पर मारपीट, कथित तौर पर अपमानजनक व्यवहार और घटना का वीडियो बनाकर सोशल मीडिया पर प्रसारित करना गंभीर मामला है। उन्होंने पुलिस से मामले में कठोर कानूनी कार्रवाई की मांग की।
आरोपियों पर कड़ी धाराएं लगाने की मांग
प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कहा कि केवल मुकदमा दर्ज करना पर्याप्त नहीं है। उन्होंने आरोपियों के खिलाफ और कड़ी कानूनी धाराएं जोड़ने तथा गुंडा एक्ट के तहत कार्रवाई करने की मांग की।
लोगों का कहना है कि इस तरह की घटनाओं पर प्रभावी कार्रवाई होने से भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं को रोकने में मदद मिलेगी।
सपना अग्रवाल समेत चार लोगों के खिलाफ मुकदमा
मामला सामने आने के बाद मोदीनगर थाने में सपना अग्रवाल सहित चार लोगों के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
पुलिस वायरल वीडियो समेत अन्य उपलब्ध साक्ष्यों की जांच कर रही है। अधिकारियों ने प्रदर्शनकारियों को निष्पक्ष जांच और नियमानुसार कानूनी कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया है।
पुलिस जांच जारी
फिलहाल मामले की जांच जारी है। पुलिस का कहना है कि उपलब्ध साक्ष्यों और वायरल वीडियो की जांच के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
वहीं प्रदर्शनकारियों ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि आरोपियों के खिलाफ जल्द कार्रवाई नहीं हुई तो आंदोलन को और तेज किया जा सकता है।

What Happened to the Three Women in Modinagar?

The women were allegedly accused of cow smuggling, following which they were reportedly subjected to physical assault and inappropriate behavior. Allegations have also been made that the women were slapped and hit with shoes and that videos of the incident were recorded.
Several videos related to the incident have gone viral on social media. The videos purportedly show the women being assaulted. However, the videos have not been independently verified.
Protesters Surround Modinagar Police Station
Following the incident, a large number of people reached the Modinagar police station on Wednesday and staged a protest.
The protesters raised slogans and demanded strict action against those accused of assaulting the women. They argued that allegedly assaulting women in public, humiliating them and recording and circulating videos on social media are serious matters that require strict legal action.
Demand for Stronger Legal Action
The protesters demanded that additional and stronger legal sections be added to the case. They also called for action under the Goonda Act against the accused.
According to the protesters, merely registering an FIR is not enough and the accused should be arrested immediately. They said strict action would help prevent similar incidents in the future.
Case Registered Against Four People
Following the incident, a case has been registered at Modinagar police station against four people, including Sapna Agarwal.
Police have started an investigation into the matter. Officials are examining the viral videos and other available evidence as part of the investigation.
