मोदीनगर (गाजियाबाद): दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर छात्रों के साथ कथित पुलिस कार्रवाई के विरोध में गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर में भीम आर्मी और आजाद समाज पार्टी का अनिश्चितकालीन धरना-प्रदर्शन लगातार तीसरे दिन भी जारी रहा। प्रदर्शनकारी मोदीनगर बस स्टैंड स्थित भारत रत्न डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर की प्रतिमा के नीचे एकत्र हुए और छात्रों की मांगें पूरी होने तथा केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफे तक आंदोलन जारी रखने का ऐलान किया।
धरने का नेतृत्व कर रहे राहुल कुमार कलछीना ने कहा कि जब तक छात्रों की जायज मांगों को स्वीकार नहीं किया जाता और शिक्षा मंत्री अपने पद से इस्तीफा नहीं देते, तब तक मोदीनगर में धरना लगातार जारी रहेगा। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि जंतर-मंतर पर शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन कर रहे छात्रों पर लाठीचार्ज किया गया, जिसका जवाब सरकार को देना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि छात्रों पर पड़ी प्रत्येक लाठी का जवाब लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से आंदोलन के माध्यम से लिया जाएगा।
धरना स्थल पर मौजूद कार्यकर्ताओं ने सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए छात्रों को न्याय दिलाने की मांग उठाई। प्रदर्शनकारियों का कहना था कि शिक्षा और रोजगार से जुड़े मुद्दों पर छात्रों की आवाज को दबाया नहीं जा सकता। उनका कहना है कि यदि जल्द ही छात्रों की मांगों पर सकारात्मक निर्णय नहीं लिया गया तो आंदोलन को और व्यापक रूप दिया जाएगा।
इस धरने में राहुल कुमार कलछीना के साथ सम्राट जाटव, दिलीप सागर, सानुज गौतम और ओमप्रकाश निवेज सहित भीम आर्मी और आजाद समाज पार्टी के कई पदाधिकारी एवं कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे। प्रदर्शन को किसान यूनियन के नेताओं, समाजवादी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं तथा विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों का भी समर्थन मिला।
प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कहा कि उनकी प्राथमिक मांग छात्रों को न्याय दिलाना और उनकी सभी जायज मांगों को पूरा कराना है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि जब तक सरकार इस संबंध में ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं करती, तब तक मोदीनगर बस स्टैंड स्थित डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर प्रतिमा के नीचे अनिश्चितकालीन धरना जारी रहेगा।
Modinagar Protest Continues for Third Day; Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party Demand Justice for Students
Modinagar, Ghaziabad: The indefinite protest led by the Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party entered its third consecutive day in Modinagar, Ghaziabad. The demonstration is being held beneath the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at the Modinagar Bus Stand in protest against the alleged police action on students during a demonstration at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
Leading the protest, Rahul Kumar Kalchina stated that the agitation would continue until the students’ demands are accepted and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns from his post. He alleged that peaceful student protesters were subjected to a police baton charge at Jantar Mantar and said the government must answer for the incident.
Protesters raised slogans demanding justice for students, arguing that voices raising concerns over education and employment should not be suppressed. They warned that the movement would be intensified if the government failed to address the students’ demands.
Several leaders and supporters, including Samrat Jatav, Dilip Sagar, Sanuj Gautam, and Omprakash Nivej, participated in the protest. The demonstration also received support from leaders of the Kisan Union, workers of the Samajwadi Party, and members of various social organizations.
The protesters reiterated that their primary demand is justice for students and the fulfillment of what they describe as legitimate student demands. They announced that the indefinite protest at the Ambedkar statue in Modinagar would continue until concrete action is taken by the government.
