जियाबाद। भारतीय किसान यूनियन (टिकैत) के आह्वान पर सोमवार को अमेरिका-इंडिया डील के विरोध में किसानों ने गाजियाबाद कलेक्ट्रेट का घेराव कर जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने के लिए सुबह से ही भोजपुर थाना क्षेत्र स्थित भोजपुर टोल प्लाजा पर बड़ी संख्या में किसान एकत्र होने लगे। किसानों का कहना था कि वे शांतिपूर्ण रैली निकालकर जिला प्रशासन के माध्यम से अपनी मांगें सरकार तक पहुंचाना चाहते हैं।
भोजपुर टोल पर पुलिस और किसानों के बीच हुई धक्का-मुक्की
किसानों के अनुसार, जैसे ही उनका काफिला गाजियाबाद के लिए रवाना हुआ, भोजपुर पुलिस ने उन्हें रोकने का प्रयास किया। इस दौरान पुलिस और किसानों के बीच हल्की धक्का-मुक्की भी हुई। किसानों का आरोप है कि वे पूरी तरह शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से आगे बढ़ रहे थे, लेकिन उन्हें रोकने की कोशिश की गई।
हालांकि, पुलिस की रोक-टोक के बावजूद किसान अपने ट्रैक्टरों और वाहनों के साथ गाजियाबाद की ओर बढ़े और अंततः गाजियाबाद कलेक्ट्रेट पहुंच गए।
कलेक्ट्रेट पहुंचकर सरकार के खिलाफ किया प्रदर्शन
गाजियाबाद कलेक्ट्रेट पहुंचने के बाद किसानों ने अमेरिका-इंडिया डील के विरोध में नारेबाजी करते हुए प्रदर्शन किया और अपनी विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर जिला प्रशासन को ज्ञापन सौंपा।
भारतीय किसान यूनियन (टिकैत) के पदाधिकारियों ने कहा कि प्रस्तावित डील किसानों के हितों के विपरीत है। यदि सरकार ने उनकी मांगों पर गंभीरता से विचार नहीं किया तो संगठन आंदोलन को और व्यापक स्तर पर चलाने के लिए मजबूर होगा।
सुरक्षा व्यवस्था रही कड़ी
प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए प्रशासन ने पूरे मार्ग पर पुलिस बल तैनात किया। कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर और आसपास सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किए गए ताकि कानून-व्यवस्था बनी रहे। प्रदर्शन शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से संपन्न हुआ और बाद में किसान वापस लौट गए।

आंदोलन में प्रमुख रूप से जिला संगठन मंत्री मुस्तफा, जिला उपाध्यक्ष हामिद चौधरी, ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष जावेद चौधरी, तहसील महासचिव रहसुदीन, सकिंदर चौधरी, ग्राम अध्यक्ष रिजवान चौधरी, तहसील अध्यक्ष अजीत चौधरी, ट्रैक्टर प्रमुख तमकीन चौधरी, जिला सचिव कुशलवीर सिंह गुलैया सहित बड़ी संख्या में किसान शामिल रहे।
BKU (Tikait) Stages Protest Against America-India Deal, Farmers Reach Ghaziabad Collectorate After Scuffle at Bhojpur Toll
Ghaziabad: Responding to the call of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait), hundreds of farmers gathered on Monday to protest against the proposed America-India Deal and marched towards the Ghaziabad Collectorate. Farmers assembled early in the morning at Bhojpur Toll Plaza under Bhojpur police station limits before beginning their rally.
Scuffle Between Farmers and Police at Bhojpur Toll
According to the protesting farmers, police attempted to stop their convoy as it moved towards Ghaziabad. During the confrontation, a brief scuffle reportedly took place between police personnel and the protesters.
Farmers claimed they were marching peacefully to submit their demands to the government through the district administration.
Farmers Reach Collectorate, Submit Memorandum
Despite police attempts to stop them, the convoy of tractors and vehicles reached the Ghaziabad Collectorate, where the farmers staged a protest against the America-India Deal and submitted a memorandum to district officials.
BKU leaders alleged that the proposed agreement is against farmers’ interests and warned that the agitation would intensify if the government fails to address their concerns.
Heavy Police Deployment
A heavy police force was deployed throughout the protest route and around the Collectorate to maintain law and order. The demonstration concluded peacefully under tight security arrangements.

Several BKU (Tikait) leaders participated in the protest, including Mustafa (District Organization Minister), Hamid Chaudhary (District Vice President), Javed Chaudhary (Block President, Bhojpur), Rahasuddin (Tehsil General Secretary, Modinagar), Sakinder Chaudhary, Rizwan Chaudhary (Village President, Bhojpur), Ajit Chaudhary (Tehsil President, Modinagar), Tamkeen Chaudhary (Tractor In-charge, Bhojpur), Kushalveer Singh Gulaiya (District Secretary), along with a large number of farmers.
