UP Free Scooty Scheme 2026 : उत्तर प्रदेश में योगी सरकार विधानसभा चुनाव 2027 से पहले बड़ा मास्टरस्ट्रोक खेलने की तैयारी में है। सरकार इस साल 50 हजार से ज्यादा मेधावी छात्राओं को फ्री स्कूटी देने की योजना पर तेजी से काम कर रही है। इसके लिए करीब ₹400 करोड़ का बजट भी तय किया गया है। माना जा रहा है कि यह योजना महिला वोटर्स और पहली बार वोट देने वाली छात्राओं को ध्यान में रखकर लाई जा रही है।
EV Scooter या Petrol Scooter? सरकार कर रही विचार
सरकार अभी इस बात पर मंथन कर रही है कि छात्राओं को इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटी दी जाए या पेट्रोल मॉडल। शासन के कई अधिकारियों का मानना है कि EV स्कूटी ज्यादा किफायती और सुविधाजनक होगी, जिससे छात्राओं का रोजाना खर्च कम होगा। हालांकि ग्रामीण इलाकों में चार्जिंग की समस्या को लेकर भी चर्चा चल रही है।
किन छात्राओं को मिलेगा योजना का लाभ?
योजना के तहत पात्रता को लेकर दो बड़े नियमों पर चर्चा हो रही है।
सरकार मेरिट और आय सीमा दोनों को आधार बना सकती है। यूपी बोर्ड, CBSE और ICSE की टॉपर छात्राओं को प्राथमिकता मिलने की संभावना है। इसके अलावा ग्रेजुएशन और पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन में 75% से ज्यादा अंक पाने वाली छात्राएं भी योजना में शामिल हो सकती हैं।
महिला वोट बैंक को मजबूत करने की तैयारी
राजनीतिक जानकारों का मानना है कि यह योजना महिला वोटर्स को साधने की रणनीति का हिस्सा हो सकती है। यूपी में करीब 6 करोड़ से ज्यादा महिला वोटर हैं और 2027 में बड़ी संख्या में पहली बार वोट देने वाली छात्राएं चुनाव में हिस्सा लेंगी। सरकार इस योजना के जरिए “बेटियों को सशक्त बनाने” का बड़ा संदेश देना चाहती है।
कंपनियों को बड़े टेंडर का इंतजार
एक साथ 50 हजार स्कूटी खरीदने की संभावना को देखते हुए Hero, TVS, Ola और Bajaj जैसी कंपनियां टेंडर का इंतजार कर रही हैं। सरकार ऐसी स्कूटी खरीदना चाहती है जो कम कीमत में मजबूत और लंबे समय तक चलने वाली हो।

Which Students Will Benefit From the Scheme?
Two major eligibility criteria are under discussion for the scheme.
The government may consider both merit and family income limits. Top-performing students from UP Board, CBSE, and ICSE schools are likely to get priority. Additionally, girls scoring more than 75% marks in graduation and post-graduation courses may also become eligible for the benefit.
Plan to Strengthen Women Vote Bank
Political experts believe the scheme could be part of a larger strategy to strengthen the women voter base in Uttar Pradesh. The state has more than 6 crore women voters, and a large number of first-time female voters will participate in the 2027 elections. Through this initiative, the government aims to send a strong message about women empowerment and support for girls’ education.
Companies Waiting for Major Tender
With the possibility of purchasing 50,000 scooters at once, major automobile companies such as Hero, TVS, Ola, and Bajaj are reportedly waiting for the government tender. The government is expected to select scooters that are affordable, durable, and suitable for long-term use.
