Petrol Diesel Price Hike : देशभर में पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में एक बार फिर बढ़ोतरी कर दी गई है। तेल कंपनियों ने 25 मई से पेट्रोल ₹2.61 प्रति लीटर और डीजल ₹2.71 प्रति लीटर महंगा कर दिया है। नई कीमतों के बाद दिल्ली में पेट्रोल ₹102.12 और डीजल ₹95.20 प्रति लीटर पहुंच गया है। यह इस महीने चौथी बार है जब ईंधन के दाम बढ़ाए गए हैं। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि इस बढ़ोतरी का असर सीधे आम जनता की जेब पर पड़ेगा। ट्रांसपोर्ट महंगा होने से सब्जियां, राशन और अन्य जरूरी सामानों की कीमतें भी बढ़ सकती हैं।
क्यों बढ़े पेट्रोल-डीजल के दाम?
पेट्रोल-डीजल की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी की सबसे बड़ी वजह अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कच्चे तेल (Crude Oil) की कीमतों में तेजी है। ईरान-अमेरिका तनाव और पश्चिम एशिया के भू-राजनीतिक हालात के कारण क्रूड ऑयल की कीमतें 70 डॉलर से बढ़कर 100 डॉलर प्रति बैरल के पार पहुंच गई हैं।
तेल कंपनियों का कहना है कि लंबे समय से बढ़ते घाटे की भरपाई के लिए कीमतें बढ़ाना जरूरी हो गया था। सरकारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार इंडियन ऑयल, भारत पेट्रोलियम और हिंदुस्तान पेट्रोलियम जैसी कंपनियों को हर महीने करीब ₹30,000 करोड़ का नुकसान हो रहा था।
आम लोगों पर क्या पड़ेगा असर?
ईंधन महंगा होने का असर केवल गाड़ियों तक सीमित नहीं रहेगा। ट्रक और टेम्पो का किराया बढ़ने से दूसरे राज्यों से आने वाले फल, सब्जियां और राशन महंगे हो सकते हैं। खेती में इस्तेमाल होने वाले ट्रैक्टर और पंपिंग सेट का खर्च बढ़ने से किसानों की लागत भी बढ़ेगी।
इसके अलावा बस, ऑटो और स्कूल वैन के किराए में भी बढ़ोतरी देखने को मिल सकती है। एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि आने वाले दिनों में महंगाई और बढ़ सकती है।
कैसे तय होती हैं पेट्रोल-डीजल की कीमतें?
भारत अपनी जरूरत का करीब 90% कच्चा तेल विदेशों से आयात करता है। पेट्रोल-डीजल की कीमत तय होने में कई फैक्टर शामिल होते हैं:
- अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में क्रूड ऑयल की कीमत
- रिफाइनिंग और ट्रांसपोर्ट खर्च
- केंद्र सरकार की एक्साइज ड्यूटी
- डीलर कमीशन

इसी वजह से अलग-अलग राज्यों और शहरों में पेट्रोल-डीजल के दाम अलग होते हैं।
2024 के बाद पहली बड़ी बढ़ोतरी
मार्च 2024 से पेट्रोल-डीजल के दाम स्थिर बने हुए थे। लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले सरकार ने जनता को राहत देने के लिए ₹2 प्रति लीटर की कटौती भी की थी। हालांकि अब अंतरराष्ट्रीय हालात और बढ़ती क्रूड कीमतों के कारण कंपनियों ने फिर कीमतें बढ़ा दी हैं।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी हाल ही में लोगों से ईंधन का इस्तेमाल सोच-समझकर करने की अपील की थी।

The impact of expensive fuel will not be limited to vehicle owners. Higher transportation costs are likely to increase the prices of fruits, vegetables, groceries, and other daily-use items transported from different states. Farmers may also face higher expenses due to increased fuel costs for tractors and irrigation pumps.
In addition, bus fares, auto-rickshaw charges, and school transport fees may also rise. Experts warn that overall inflation could increase further in the coming days.

India imports nearly 90% of its crude oil requirements from other countries. Fuel prices are determined based on several factors, including:

First Major Fuel Price Hike Since 2024
Fuel prices had remained stable since March 2024, and before the Lok Sabha elections, the government had reduced prices by ₹2 per litre to provide relief to the public. However, due to rising crude oil prices and global tensions, companies have now increased fuel rates again.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also recently urged people to use fuel carefully and avoid unnecessary consumption considering the global situation.
