Monsoon 2026 update : भारत में इस बार मानसून तय समय से पहले आने की संभावना जताई गई है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, मानसून 25 से 27 मई के बीच केरल तट पर पहुंच सकता है, जबकि सामान्य तौर पर यह 1 जून तक आता है। बंगाल की खाड़ी में बने सिस्टम के कारण मानसून तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है।
यूपी-बिहार समेत कई राज्यों में बारिश और तूफान का अलर्ट
उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, उत्तराखंड, हिमाचल प्रदेश और ओडिशा समेत कई राज्यों में आंधी, तेज हवाओं और बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। यूपी के 38 जिलों में बारिश की संभावना है, जबकि बिहार और उत्तराखंड के सभी जिलों में मौसम खराब रह सकता है।
बिजली गिरने और तेज हवाओं की चेतावनी
मौसम विभाग ने कई राज्यों में बिजली गिरने और 30 से 60 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं चलने की चेतावनी जारी की है। हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुल्लू में आंधी-तूफान से कई घरों और गोशालाओं को नुकसान पहुंचा है।
राजस्थान में भीषण गर्मी, बाड़मेर सबसे गर्म
दूसरी ओर राजस्थान, गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र और मध्य प्रदेश में हीटवेव जारी है। राजस्थान का बाड़मेर लगातार दूसरे दिन देश का सबसे गर्म शहर रहा, जहां तापमान 47.3°C दर्ज किया गया। जैसलमेर, बीकानेर और फलोदी में भी तापमान 45°C के पार पहुंच गया।
दक्षिण और पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों में भारी बारिश की संभावना
केरल, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, असम, मेघालय और मणिपुर समेत कई राज्यों में अगले कुछ दिनों तक भारी बारिश हो सकती है। ओडिशा के 20 जिलों में यलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।

Monsoon 2026 update : India is likely to witness an early arrival of the monsoon this year. According to the weather department, the monsoon may reach the Kerala coast between May 25 and 27, while it usually arrives around June 1. A weather system formed over the Bay of Bengal is helping the monsoon advance faster.
Rain and Storm Alert in Several States Including UP and Bihar
A weather alert for thunderstorms, strong winds, and rain has been issued for several states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Odisha. Rain is expected in 38 districts of Uttar Pradesh, while all districts of Bihar and Uttarakhand may witness bad weather conditions.
Warning of Lightning and Strong Winds
The Meteorological Department has warned of lightning strikes and strong winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 60 kmph in several states. In Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district, storms and heavy winds damaged several houses and cowsheds.
Severe Heatwave in Rajasthan, Barmer Hottest in the Country
At the same time, heatwave conditions continue in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. Rajasthan’s Barmer remained the hottest place in the country for the second consecutive day, recording a temperature of 47.3°C. Temperatures in Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Phalodi also crossed 45°C.
Heavy Rain Expected in Southern and Northeastern States
Heavy rainfall is likely in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya, and Manipur over the next few days. A yellow alert has also been issued for 20 districts in Odisha.
