Mathura robbery case : मथुरा पुलिस ने बुधवार सुबह बावरिया गैंग के दो इनामी बदमाशों धर्मवीर उर्फ लंबू और राजेंद्र उर्फ पप्पू को एनकाउंटर में मार गिराया। दोनों पर ₹50-50 हजार का इनाम था और वे राजस्थान के रहने वाले थे।
23 अप्रैल को कारोबारी के घर डाली थी डकैती
दोनों बदमाशों ने अपने साथियों के साथ मिलकर 23 अप्रैल की रात टेंटीगांव में किराना कारोबारी अजय अग्रवाल के घर डकैती डाली थी। बदमाशों ने परिवार को बंधक बनाकर करीब 20 लाख रुपये कैश और सोने-चांदी के जेवर लूट लिए थे। जाते समय CCTV DVR भी साथ ले गए थे।
यमुना एक्सप्रेस-वे के पास हुआ एनकाउंटर
पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि दोनों बदमाश यमुना एक्सप्रेस-वे के पास हैं। घेराबंदी के दौरान बदमाशों ने पुलिस पर फायरिंग शुरू कर दी। जवाबी कार्रवाई में दोनों घायल हो गए और अस्पताल में उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। इस दौरान दो पुलिसकर्मी भी घायल हुए।
कई राज्यों में दर्ज थे केस
पुलिस के अनुसार, दोनों बदमाशों पर यूपी, हरियाणा, दिल्ली और राजस्थान में डकैती, चोरी और हत्या की कोशिश समेत कई गंभीर मुकदमे दर्ज थे। यह गिरोह हाईवे किनारे बने मकानों को निशाना बनाता था।
कारोबारी ने कहा- पुलिस ने अच्छा काम किया
घटना के पीड़ित कारोबारी अजय अग्रवाल ने कहा कि बदमाशों के मारे जाने से उनका परिवार खुश है और पुलिस ने सराहनीय काम किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस खबर से उनका पूरा परिवार खुश है।
Two Robbers Involved in Mathura Robbery Killed in Encounter: Had Looted ₹20 Lakh from Businessman’s House
Mathura robbery case : Mathura Police on Wednesday morning killed two wanted members of the Bawaria gang, identified as Dharmveer alias Lambu and Rajendra alias Pappu, in an encounter. Both carried a reward of ₹50,000 each and were residents of Rajasthan.
Had Robbed a Businessman’s House on April 23
The accused, along with their gang members, had carried out a robbery at grocery trader Ajay Agarwal’s house in Tentigaon on the night of April 23. The gang held the family hostage and looted around ₹20 lakh in cash and gold-silver jewellery. They also took away the CCTV DVR while escaping.
Encounter Took Place Near Yamuna Expressway
Police received information that the accused were near the Yamuna Expressway. During the operation, the criminals opened fire on the police. In retaliatory firing, both were injured and later declared dead at the hospital. Two police personnel were also injured during the encounter.
Cases Registered in Multiple States
According to police, both criminals had several serious cases registered against them in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan, including robbery, theft, and attempted murder. The gang mainly targeted houses located near highways.
Businessman Praised Police Action
Victim businessman Ajay Agarwal said that his family is relieved after hearing about the encounter and praised the police for their action.
