Modinagar religious conversion case : उत्तर प्रदेश के मोदीनगर के गोविंदपुरी कॉलोनी स्थित St. Teresa Public School पर धर्म परिवर्तन कराने के प्रयास का गंभीर आरोप लगा है। एक महिला कर्मचारी ने स्कूल प्रबंधन पर दबाव बनाने का आरोप लगाया है, जिसके बाद मामला तूल पकड़ गया।
महिला का आरोप: धर्म बदलने का दबाव और नौकरी से निकाला
पीड़िता अरुण गोस्वामी ने बताया कि स्कूल प्रबंधन उन पर धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए दबाव बना रहा था। साथ ही हाथ पर धार्मिक टैटू बनवाने के लिए भी कहा गया। इनकार करने पर उन्हें नौकरी से निकाल दिया गया और गंभीर परिणाम भुगतने की धमकी दी गई। महिला का कहना है कि थाने में शिकायत दर्ज कराने के बाद भी उन्हें और उनके परिवार को जान से मारने की धमकियां मिल रही हैं। इस संबंध में मोदीनगर थाने में लिखित शिकायत दी गई है।
हिंदू संगठनों का प्रदर्शन, गेट पर लिखा ‘जय श्री राम’
मामले की जानकारी मिलते ही हिंदू संगठनों के कार्यकर्ता मौके पर पहुंच गए और स्कूल के बाहर विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू कर दिया। प्रदर्शन के दौरान कार्यकर्ताओं ने स्कूल के मुख्य गेट पर ‘जय श्री राम’ लिख दिया। प्रदर्शन कर रहे कार्यकर्ताओं ने स्कूल गेट के बाहर बैठकर हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ किया और प्रशासन से सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की।
हंगामे की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और प्रदर्शनकारियों को शांत करने का प्रयास किया। हालांकि, कार्यकर्ता FIR दर्ज करने की मांग पर अड़े रहे। वहीं स्कूल प्रबंधन ने सभी आरोपों को सिरे से खारिज कर दिया है और उन्हें निराधार बताया है।

Modinagar religious conversion case : Serious allegations of attempted religious conversion have surfaced at St. Teresa Public School located in Govindpuri Colony, Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh. A female employee has accused the school management of pressuring her, following which the matter escalated.
Woman’s Allegation: Pressure to Convert and Job Termination
The victim, Arun Goswami, alleged that the school management was pressuring her to convert her religion. She was also asked to get a religious tattoo on her hand. When she refused, she was removed from her job and allegedly threatened with serious consequences.
The woman further claimed that even after filing a complaint at the police station, she and her family have been receiving death threats. A written complaint has been submitted at the Modinagar police station.
Protest by Hindu Organizations, ‘Jai Shri Ram’ Written on Gate
As soon as the matter came to light, members of Hindu organizations gathered at the location and started protesting outside the school. During the protest, they wrote “Jai Shri Ram” on the main gate of the school.
The protesters also sat outside the gate and recited the Hanuman Chalisa, demanding strict action from the administration.
Police Reach Spot, Try to Control Situation
After receiving information about the unrest, police reached the spot and tried to pacify the protesters. However, the demonstrators remained firm on their demand for filing an FIR.
Meanwhile, the school management has denied all the allegations and termed them baseless.
