Modinagar News: मोदीनगर में पुलिस ने न्यू तेल मिल गेट क्षेत्र से अवैध पटाखों के सैकड़ों पैकेट बरामद किए हैं। मामले में 21 वर्षीय गौरव शर्मा को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जबकि उसका साथी शिवम फरार है।
मोदीनगर। दीपावली और आगामी त्योहारों के मद्देनजर अवैध पटाखों की बिक्री की तैयारी कर रहे एक युवक को मोदीनगर थाना पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने मुखबिर की सूचना पर न्यू तेल मिल गेट क्षेत्र में कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपी के कब्जे से अलग-अलग ब्रांड के पटाखों के सैकड़ों पैकेट बरामद किए हैं। वहीं, इस मामले में शामिल एक अन्य आरोपी पुलिस को चकमा देकर फरार हो गया।
मुखबिर की सूचना पर पुलिस ने की कार्रवाई
पुलिस के मुताबिक, 2 नवंबर को टीम को सूचना मिली थी कि थाना क्षेत्र में एक युवक अवैध रूप से पटाखे जमा कर रहा है और उन्हें बाजार में बेचने की तैयारी में है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए गौरव शर्मा (21) पुत्र जय किशन शर्मा निवासी न्यू डी-20, तेल मिल गेट, मोदीनगर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपी ने बताया कि उसने आगामी त्योहारों पर आर्थिक लाभ कमाने के उद्देश्य से प्रतिबंधित आतिशबाजी जमा की थी। वह इन पटाखों को बाजार में बेचने की तैयारी कर रहा था।
अलग-अलग ब्रांड के सैकड़ों पैकेट बरामद
पुलिस ने आरोपी के कब्जे से कई ब्रांड के पटाखे बरामद किए हैं। इनमें वंडर थ्रो, कलर कोटी, लीओपार्ड किंग, स्टार प्लेटिनियम स्पार्क कलर्स, जय बजरंग, हेलिकॉप्टर शॉट, मोरी छाप, सुतली बम, सीता-गीता और मेघा बुलेट शामिल हैं।
इसके अलावा पुलिस को रोल कैप्स, मैजिक पेपर शॉट, ग्राउंड चक्कर, क्रैक जैक, किट कैट, पांच अवतार, सिल्वर रेन टॉर्च और सिल्वर टॉर्च सहित अन्य आतिशबाजी भी मिली है।
शिवम नाम का आरोपी फरार, पुलिस कर रही तलाश
इस मामले में शिवम पुत्र झुमरी निवासी तेल मिल गेट, मोदीनगर का नाम भी सामने आया है। बताया गया है कि वह पुलिस की कार्रवाई के दौरान फरार हो गया। पुलिस उसकी तलाश में जुटी है।
विस्फोटक अधिनियम के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज
पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार आरोपी गौरव शर्मा के खिलाफ विस्फोटक अधिनियम, 1884 की धारा 9बी (1)(बी) के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया है। पुलिस अब फरार आरोपी की तलाश करने के साथ ही बरामद पटाखों के स्रोत और इस कारोबार से जुड़े अन्य लोगों की जानकारी जुटा रही है।
मोदीनगर पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई के बाद अवैध आतिशबाजी के कारोबार से जुड़े अन्य लोगों की भूमिका की भी जांच की जा रही है।

Modinagar News: Illegal Firecrackers Seized in Modinagar, 21-Year-Old Arrested; Accomplice Escapes
Modinagar News: Modinagar Police recovered hundreds of packets of firecrackers of different brands from the New Tel Mill Gate area. A 21-year-old man, identified as Gaurav Sharma, has been arrested, while his alleged accomplice Shivam is absconding.
Modinagar: Police in Modinagar have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly stockpiling prohibited firecrackers for sale during the upcoming festive season. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid in the New Tel Mill Gate area and recovered hundreds of packets of firecrackers belonging to different brands. Another person allegedly involved in the case managed to escape.
Police Action Following a Tip-Off
According to the police, on November 2, the team received information that a man was illegally storing firecrackers in the police station area and preparing to sell them in the market.
Following the information, the police took action and arrested Gaurav Sharma (21), son of Jai Kishan Sharma, a resident of New D-20, Tel Mill Gate, Modinagar.
During questioning, the accused reportedly told the police that he had collected the prohibited fireworks to earn money by selling them during the upcoming festivals.
Hundreds of Firecracker Packets Recovered
The police recovered packets of firecrackers from several brands, including Wonder Throw, Color Koti, Leopard King, Star Platinum Spark Colors, Jai Bajrang, Helicopter Shot, Mori Chhaap, Sutli Bomb, Sita-Geeta and Megha Bullet.
Other recovered items included Roll Caps, Magic Paper Shot, Ground Chakkar, Crack Jack, Kit Kat, Panch Avtar, Silver Rain Torch and Silver Torch, along with other fireworks.
Accomplice Shivam Escapes, Police Search Underway
Police have also identified another person, Shivam, son of Jhumri, a resident of Tel Mill Gate, Modinagar, in connection with the case. He reportedly escaped during the police action.
The police are currently searching for the absconding suspect.
Case Registered Under Explosives Act
A case has been registered against the arrested accused, Gaurav Sharma, under Section 9B(1)(b) of the Explosives Act, 1884.
The police are investigating the source of the recovered firecrackers and gathering information about other people who may be connected to the alleged illegal fireworks business.
The investigation is ongoing as police continue their search for the second suspect.
