upnewz,पुणे: महाराष्ट्र के पुणे में 34 वर्षीय मुग्धा देशमुख एक किराए के फ्लैट में मृत पाई गईं। वह कई महीने पहले अपने परिवार को बताए बिना ब्रिटेन से भारत लौट आई थीं। परिवार को उनकी भारत में मौजूदगी का सुराग बैंक स्टेटमेंट में दर्ज फूड डिलीवरी ट्रांजैक्शन से मिला। इसके बाद पुलिस ने उनकी लोकेशन का पता लगाया और पुणे के गहुंजे स्थित लोढ़ा बेलमोंडो परिसर के एक फ्लैट में उनका शव बरामद किया।
MBA की पढ़ाई के लिए ब्रिटेन गई थीं मुग्धा देशमुख
मुग्धा देशमुख मूल रूप से महाराष्ट्र के छत्रपति संभाजीनगर की रहने वाली थीं। वह पिछले साल जुलाई में MBA की पढ़ाई करने के लिए ब्रिटेन गई थीं। वहां वह अकेले रहती थीं और अपनी पढ़ाई के साथ पार्ट-टाइम काम भी करती थीं।
पुलिस के अनुसार, मुग्धा का परिवार फोन कॉल और मैसेज के जरिए उनके संपर्क में था। हालांकि, 24 अक्टूबर को जब परिवार ने उनसे संपर्क करने की कोशिश की, तो उनकी ओर से कोई जवाब नहीं मिला। बाद में उनका फोन भी बंद हो गया।
लंदन में दोस्त ने पुलिस को दी थी गुमशुदगी की सूचना
मुग्धा से संपर्क नहीं होने पर उनके माता-पिता ने लंदन में रहने वाली उनकी एक दोस्त से बात की। दोस्त ने बताया कि उसकी मुग्धा से आखिरी बार 22 अक्टूबर को मैसेज के जरिए बातचीत हुई थी।
इसके बाद दोस्त ने लंदन पुलिस को मुग्धा के लापता होने की सूचना दी। हालांकि, पुलिस ने उसे बताया कि मुग्धा अगस्त के अंत के आसपास ही ब्रिटेन छोड़ चुकी थीं।
इसके बाद परिवार ने मुग्धा का पता लगाने के लिए भारतीय अधिकारियों और भारतीय उच्चायोग से मदद मांगी।
बैंक स्टेटमेंट में फूड डिलीवरी ट्रांजैक्शन से मिला सुराग
मुग्धा के पिता ने जब उनके बैंक स्टेटमेंट की जांच की, तो उन्हें 8 से 25 अक्टूबर के बीच कई फूड डिलीवरी ट्रांजैक्शन दिखाई दिए। इनमें से कुछ ट्रांजैक्शन छत्रपति संभाजीनगर के उस्मानपुरा इलाके से जुड़े थे।
इन लेनदेन के आधार पर परिवार को संदेह हुआ कि मुग्धा भारत में ही मौजूद थीं। इसके बाद पुलिस ने उनकी लोकेशन का पता लगाने के लिए जांच शुरू की।
पुणे के गहुंजे स्थित फ्लैट में मिला शव
छत्रपति संभाजीनगर पुलिस ने मुग्धा की लोकेशन पुणे के गहुंजे स्थित लोढ़ा बेलमोंडो परिसर में ट्रेस की। इसके बाद पिंपरी-चिंचवड़ के शिरगांव पुलिस स्टेशन की टीम संबंधित फ्लैट पर पहुंची।
शिरगांव पुलिस के वरिष्ठ निरीक्षक देवेंद्र चव्हाण के अनुसार, पुलिस ने चाबी बनाने वाले की मदद से फ्लैट में प्रवेश किया। अंदर मुग्धा मृत अवस्था में मिलीं।
पुलिस ने बताया कि मुग्धा के शरीर पर चोट के कोई स्पष्ट निशान दिखाई नहीं दिए। उनकी मौत के कारणों के बारे में इस जानकारी में कोई आधिकारिक निष्कर्ष नहीं दिया गया है। मामले में मौत की परिस्थितियों को लेकर किसी भी निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचने से पहले पुलिस जांच के निष्कर्षों का इंतजार करना जरूरी है।

Pune: A 34-year-old woman, Mugdha Deshmukh, was found dead inside a rented apartment in Pune after food delivery transactions helped her family trace her location in India. Originally from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mugdha had reportedly returned from the United Kingdom without informing her family months earlier.
Her family became concerned after she stopped responding to calls and messages. An examination of her bank statements later revealed multiple food delivery transactions, providing a possible clue about her whereabouts.
Mugdha Deshmukh Had Gone to the UK for an MBA
Mugdha Deshmukh, a native of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra, travelled to the United Kingdom in July last year to pursue an MBA. She lived alone and also took up part-time jobs.
According to the police, Mugdha remained in contact with her family through phone calls and messages.
However, on October 24, her family was unable to reach her. Her phone was subsequently switched off, raising concerns about her whereabouts.
London Friend Reported Her Missing
After failing to contact Mugdha, her parents reached out to a friend of hers who was living in London.
The friend reportedly told them that she had last communicated with Mugdha through messages on October 22. She subsequently approached the London police to report Mugdha missing.
However, the police informed her that Mugdha had left the United Kingdom around the end of August.
Following this development, Mugdha’s family contacted Indian authorities and the Indian High Commission, seeking assistance in locating her.
Food Delivery Transactions Provided a Crucial Clue
Mugdha’s father examined her bank statements in an attempt to establish her whereabouts. He reportedly found several food delivery transactions recorded between October 8 and October 25.
Some of the transactions were linked to the Osamanpura area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. This led the family to suspect that Mugdha had returned to India.
The police subsequently began investigating her possible location.
Body Found at Lodha Belmondo Complex in Pune
According to the police, Mugdha’s location was traced to the Lodha Belmondo complex in Gahunje, Pune.
A team from Shirgaon Police Station in Pimpri-Chinchwad reached the apartment where she was reportedly staying. With the assistance of a locksmith, the police gained entry into the flat and found her dead inside.
Senior Inspector Devendra Chavan of Shirgaon Police said that the team entered the apartment with the help of a keymaker after tracing her location.
Police Report No Visible Injury Marks
The police stated that there were no visible injury marks on Mugdha’s body.However, the available information does not establish the cause or circumstances of her death. Further conclusions about the case should be based on official findings from the police investigation.
