Modinagar News: गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर में भारतीय किसान यूनियन अराजनैतिक के पदाधिकारियों ने किसानों की चार सूत्रीय मांगों को लेकर बुधवार को एसडीएम मोदीनगर को ज्ञापन सौंपा। किसान नेताओं ने समस्याओं का जल्द समाधान नहीं होने पर तहसील परिसर में धरना देने की चेतावनी दी है।

मतौर गांव की चकरोड़ खुलवाने की मांग

जानकारी के अनुसार, बुधवार सुबह करीब 10 बजे भाकियू अराजनैतिक के पदाधिकारी मोदीनगर तहसील पहुंचे और एसडीएम को ज्ञापन सौंपा। किसान नेताओं ने आरोप लगाया कि मतौर गांव में चकरोड़ को जबरन बंद करा दिया गया है। उन्होंने प्रशासन से चकरोड़ को खुलवाने की मांग की।

सात साल से लंबित गन्ना भुगतान के ब्याज का मुद्दा उठाया

किसान नेताओं ने शुगर मिल पर किसानों के बकाया गन्ना भुगतान के ब्याज का मुद्दा भी उठाया। उनका कहना है कि यह ब्याज करीब सात साल से लंबित है। किसानों ने मांग की कि दिवाली से पहले बकाया ब्याज की राशि दिलाई जाए, ताकि उन्हें आर्थिक राहत मिल सके।

इसके अलावा, किसान नेताओं ने क्षेत्र में बड़े स्तर पर मिट्टी के खनन का आरोप लगाते हुए इस मामले में भी कार्रवाई की मांग की। उन्होंने प्रशासन से किसानों की समस्याओं का जल्द समाधान कराने की अपील की।

SDM ने जांच कराकर कार्रवाई का दिया भरोसा

ज्ञापन मिलने के बाद एसडीएम मोदीनगर ने किसान नेताओं को सभी समस्याओं की जांच कराकर उचित कार्रवाई करने का भरोसा दिया। किसान नेताओं ने स्पष्ट किया कि यदि उनकी मांगों का जल्द समाधान नहीं हुआ, तो वे तहसील परिसर में धरना देने के लिए मजबूर होंगे।

इस मौके पर मनोज त्यागी, अरविंद त्यागी, सचिन चौधरी, उमेश शर्मा और निर्देश त्यागी समेत अन्य लोग मौजूद रहे।

Modinagar News: Office-bearers of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Non-Political submitted a four-point memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Modinagar on Wednesday, raising issues related to farmers in the area. The union warned that its members would stage a protest at the tehsil if their demands were not addressed soon.

Farmers Demand Reopening of Chakroad in Mator Village

According to the information provided, BKU Non-Political representatives reached the Modinagar tehsil at around 10 am on Wednesday and submitted their memorandum to the SDM.

The farmer leaders alleged that a chakroad, or village access road, in Mator village had been forcibly blocked. They urged the administration to investigate the matter and reopen the route.

Farmers Raise Issue of Pending Sugarcane Payment Interest

The union representatives also raised the issue of interest allegedly due to farmers on pending sugarcane payments from a sugar mill. They said the interest had remained unpaid for around seven years and demanded that the amount be released before Diwali.

The farmer leaders also alleged that large-scale soil excavation was taking place in the area and called for the administration to look into the matter.

SDM Assures Investigation and Appropriate Action

After receiving the memorandum, the SDM assured the representatives that the issues would be investigated and appropriate action would be taken.

The union warned that its members could stage a protest at the tehsil if their demands were not resolved promptly.

Manoj Tyagi, Arvind Tyagi, Sachin Chaudhary, Umesh Sharma and Nirdesh Tyagi were among those present during the submission of the memorandum.
