मोदीनगर। निवाड़ी थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम सारा में एक युवक पर महिलाओं के साथ कथित तौर पर अश्लील हरकतें करने, गाली-गलौज और धमकी देने के आरोप लगाए गए हैं। मामले को लेकर गुरुवार को गांव की कई महिलाएं मोदीनगर तहसील पहुंचीं और अधिकारियों को शिकायत देकर आरोपी के खिलाफ जांच व नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की मांग की।
महिलाओं का आरोप है कि युवक शराब के नशे में महिलाओं के साथ आपत्तिजनक व्यवहार करता है। विरोध करने पर कथित तौर पर गाली-गलौज और धमकी दी जाती है। ग्रामीण महिलाओं के मुताबिक, युवक की हरकतों से मोहल्ले के लोग परेशान हैं और महिलाओं को घर से बाहर निकलने में भी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
मोबाइल दुकान पर बैठकर अश्लील हरकत करने का आरोप
तहसील पहुंची एक महिला ने अधिकारियों को दिए शिकायती पत्र में आरोप लगाया कि उसके पड़ोस में रहने वाला युवक अपनी मोबाइल की दुकान पर बैठकर उसे देखकर शराब के नशे में कथित तौर पर अश्लील हरकतें करता है।
महिला का कहना है कि परिवार के सदस्यों द्वारा विरोध करने पर युवक कथित रूप से गाली-गलौज करता है और परिवार को परेशान करता है। शिकायतकर्ता के अनुसार, इस संबंध में निवाड़ी थाने में लिखित शिकायत दी जा चुकी है।
112 नंबर पर सूचना देने का भी दावा
शिकायतकर्ता महिला ने दावा किया कि घटना को लेकर कई बार 112 नंबर पर पुलिस को सूचना दी गई, लेकिन अपेक्षित कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। हालांकि, इस संबंध में पुलिस की ओर से आधिकारिक प्रतिक्रिया सामने आने के बाद ही कार्रवाई की स्थिति स्पष्ट हो सकेगी।
महिला ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि युवक और उसके परिजन उसे तथा उसके परिवार को झूठे छेड़छाड़ के मुकदमे में फंसाकर जेल भिजवाने की धमकी देते हैं। शिकायत में आरोपी को दबंग प्रवृत्ति का बताते हुए दावा किया गया है कि उसके खिलाफ आवाज उठाने से मोहल्ले के लोग डरते हैं।
देर रात तक तेज आवाज में डीजे बजाने का आरोप
ग्रामीण महिलाओं ने एक अन्य आरोप में कहा कि युवक कथित तौर पर शराब के नशे में देर रात तक तेज आवाज में डीजे बजाता है और सार्वजनिक स्थान पर आपत्तिजनक व्यवहार करता है।
महिलाओं का कहना है कि ऐसी घटनाओं को लेकर पहले भी पुलिस से शिकायत की जा चुकी है। ग्रामीणों के मुताबिक, शिकायत मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंचकर युवक को समझाती है, लेकिन कुछ समय बाद कथित तौर पर स्थिति दोबारा पहले जैसी हो जाती है।
महिलाओं ने सुरक्षा और कार्रवाई की मांग की
तहसील पहुंची महिलाओं ने अधिकारियों से पूरे मामले की जांच कराने, आरोपी के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई करने और मोहल्ले में महिलाओं की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की है।

Modinagar: Several women from Sara village in the Niwari police station area of Modinagar reached the Modinagar Tehsil on Thursday and submitted a complaint seeking action against a youth who they allege engages in obscene acts, abuses them and issues threats while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
The women claimed that the alleged behaviour has caused concern among residents of the locality and made it difficult for women to move around freely. They urged the authorities to investigate the matter and ensure their safety.
Woman Alleges Obscene Behaviour Near Mobile Shop
One of the women who reached the tehsil alleged in her written complaint that a youth living in her neighbourhood sits at his mobile shop and allegedly makes obscene gestures at her while under the influence of alcohol.
According to the complainant, when family members objected to the alleged behaviour, the youth allegedly abused and harassed them. She claimed that a written complaint had already been submitted at the Niwari police station regarding the matter.
Claim of Repeated Calls to 112
The complainant also claimed that police assistance was sought several times through the 112 emergency response number, but alleged that the expected action was not taken.
She further alleged that the youth and his family members threatened to implicate her and her family in a false molestation case and send them to jail.
The complaint also describes the accused as having an intimidating reputation in the locality, with residents allegedly reluctant to speak against him.
Women Allege Late-Night Loud DJ and Public Misconduct
Other village women alleged that the youth plays loud DJ music late into the night while allegedly under the influence of alcohol and behaves inappropriately in public places.
The women claimed that similar complaints had previously been made to the police. According to local residents, police personnel have visited the spot and counselled the youth, but the alleged behaviour reportedly resumes after some time.
