प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, नाव में करीब 32 श्रद्धालु सवार थे, जो पंजाब के मुक्तसर से आए थे। नाव यमुना में पड़े एक पीपे से टकरा गई, जिससे संतुलन बिगड़ा और नाव पलट गई। हादसे के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई। पुलिस, प्रशासन और स्थानीय गोताखोरों ने तुरंत बचाव अभियान शुरू किया। कई एंबुलेंस मौके पर पहुंची हैं और लगातार तलाश जारी है।
अब तक की स्थिति
एक श्रद्धालु को निकालकर अस्पताल भेजा गया है, जबकि अन्य की तलाश जारी है। गोताखोर लगातार नदी में सर्च ऑपरेशन चला रहे हैं।
यह हादसा केशीघाट के पास हुआ, जहां पहले पीपों का पुल बनाया गया था। जलस्तर बढ़ने के कारण पीपे हटाए गए थे, जो नदी में फैले हुए थे और हादसे की वजह बने।
इस घटना ने सुरक्षा इंतजामों पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि नदी में पड़े पीपों को हटाने की उचित व्यवस्था नहीं की गई थी।
प्रशासन द्वारा जांच जारी है और लापरवाही पाए जाने पर कार्रवाई की संभावना है।

Current Situation
So far, one devotee has been rescued and taken to the hospital, while the search for others continues. Divers are actively conducting rescue operations in the river.
The incident took place near Keshi Ghat, where a temporary bridge made of drums had earlier been installed. Due to rising water levels, the drums were removed but left scattered in the river, which reportedly caused the accident.
This incident has raised serious concerns about safety arrangements. Local residents claim that proper measures were not taken to clear the floating drums from the river.
