कैसे हुआ हादसा?
हर्षित अपने तीन दोस्तों के साथ सुपरनोवा बिल्डिंग के पीछे गया था। पिकनिक के दौरान चारों ने गड्ढे में नहाने का फैसला किया। हर्षित पहले पानी में उतरा, लेकिन बीच में दलदल में फंस गया और डूबने लगा। दोस्तों ने बचाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन सफल नहीं हो सके। सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस, एनडीआरएफ और एसडीआरएफ की टीम मौके पर पहुंची। गोताखोरों ने हर्षित को बाहर निकाला और अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, मौके से शराब की बोतलें और बीयर केन भी बरामद हुई हैं। यह गड्ढा कई सालों से पानी से भरा हुआ था और इसकी गहराई 70-80 फीट बताई जा रही है।
परिवार ने उठाए सवाल
परिजनों ने मौत को संदिग्ध बताया है। उनका कहना है कि हर्षित तैरना जानता था और उसके शरीर पर चोट के निशान भी मिले हैं, जिससे साजिश की आशंका जताई जा रही है।
पहले भी हो चुका है हादसा
करीब ढाई महीने पहले सेक्टर-150 में इसी तरह के गड्ढे में डूबने से एक इंजीनियर की मौत हो चुकी है, जिससे सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं।
प्रशासन की भूमिका पर सवाल
स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि ऐसे खतरनाक गड्ढों को खुला छोड़ना प्रशासन की लापरवाही है। घटना के बाद एक बार फिर सुरक्षा इंतजामों पर सवाल खड़े हो गए हैं।
यह हादसा सिर्फ एक दुर्घटना नहीं, बल्कि सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और निगरानी की कमी को भी उजागर करता है। मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग तेज हो गई है।

How did the incident happen?
Harshit went behind the Supernova building with his three friends. During the picnic, all four decided to enter the pit filled with water. Harshit entered first but got stuck in mud in the middle and started drowning. His friends tried to save him but failed.
After receiving information, police along with NDRF and SDRF teams reached the spot. Divers recovered Harshit from deep water and rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Eyewitnesses said that liquor bottles and beer cans were found at the spot. The pit had been filled with water for years and was estimated to be 70–80 feet deep.
Family raises questions
The family has termed the death suspicious. They claim Harshit knew how to swim and had multiple injury marks on his body, raising suspicion of foul play.
Similar incident earlier
About two and a half months ago, a software engineer had also died in a similar water-filled pit in Sector-150, raising concerns about safety measures.
